Got a call on my cell phone from an unregistered number.  He told me his name but I didn't pay any attention to it.  He starts his spill how are you today.  Told the man he was calling a phone number that is registered on the Do Not Call List and that he was breaking the law.  He asked me what I was talking about and did I not want to win half a million dollars from Publishers Clearing House.  I hung up on him.  Immediately I get another call from 876-524-3471. I did not answer this call but did look to see if there are any complaints on this number.  There is one now!

Just received a cal from this number and was told I was a Publisher's Clearing House random winner of $500,000.00.  I told him I don't know how I could have won since I've never entered.  He told me my telephone # was randomly selected and proceeded to tell me that they would deliver a check sometime before noon the next day and be ready to be on international tv.  Then he needed my name and address and told me I needed to go purchase a greendot card for $155.00.  That's when I knew it was a scam and told him I was going to report him and he quickly hung up.

A guy called from this number stating he was from Publishers Clearing House and  I had won $35,000 from a random drawing of my phone number. He told me they were going to deliver the check the same day to my house and that I needed to be ready to be on National television. Tried to say I was the only person in my state to win, but my Mom received the same scam call the day before. I hung up and they have called me several times since.

Got a call from this number. But didn't answer it.

They have called a couple of times this last month. I don't answer. They called twice today. I'm going to block the number.

I received a call from 8765243471. The caller said I was a "Grand Prize"
winner of $800,000 to be delivered a my address today. He said he would
have to FAX his source in Port Washington NY about this, that they would
come with the check today sometime, only needing "delivery charges" of
several hundreds of dollars.  He said I would need an ID and to meet me
at my front door.  I said I would meet him with the money. Now I'm going to
call my police department.

I've been called three (3) times today by this number.  Caller ID says it's from Jamaica. Haven't answered any of the calls.

We have been called several times today from 876-524-3471...(supposedly from Publishers Clearing House ).and all they wanted was $192.00  put on some kind of card at Walgreen's or CVS and then we would have won $500,000.

I DON'T THINK SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Told them we were not interested and hung up 4 times and the last time they called, my husband told them we had cash to give them when they showed up and they said they did not need our $192.00 and hung up on him.

I received a phone call from (876) 524-3471, claiming that I won $ 800,000 . This is a scam that needs to stop.

This guy has 1.5 mil for me. And new truck!!!  And when I hung up he called several times and left a VM that said "answer your phone"!!!!

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

Publishers Clearing House never requires any money, purchases, taxes, fees, or deposits of any kind to get your prize.

Publishers Clearing House DOES NOT call, email, FAX, mail, any advanced notice that you have won.
