This number called my cell phone 3 days ago with the UPS delivery angle. The "Gentleman" would only say that I was the verified recipient and when I pressed him for a name on the package he became quite agitated so I hung up.  I thought that it was done and over but today I received a call from 876-778-9103 with the money prize scam. He was relentless but was easily confused by logic, which is what they don't want us to be.  Greedy, emotional  and illogical is what they hope for...

Got a call from this number (876-578-5516) with a woman saying I had a parcel that needed to be delivered today and asked if i would be available. When i asked who it was from, she said, "uhhh, publishers clearing house?"
When i responded with, "no," she promptly hung up on me.

Most hilarious attempted scam ever. Woman called from 876-578-5516 (Jamaica) with an Island accent, "Hello, I'm calling from your UPS." I said, "UPS, calling from Jamaica? That seems legit." She responds with, "I'm calling from your [***] grave! I'm ready for you to come inside, you piece of [***]." and then hangs up. Guess they use this for therapy?

UPS - wanting to know if I was going to be home for a delivery today.  Funny thing is I believed her because I am expecting a package today.  Told her I would be home at 3:00 & then she hung up.  Then I started to get scared that someone would break into the house.  Tried to call the number back & was immediately put on hold.

I got a call from (876) 778-9103 today. The man said he was from "Publishers Clearing House". I told him to put me on the no call list and he proceeded to tell me I would have to pay to get on that list. He then told me I would be arrested if I didnt. I laughed, called him a f***ing idiot and told him to not call me again. He didn't appreciate that and hung up.

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

Scammers use these numbers to not only try to scam you out of money, but also sting you with high phone call rates.

Do report the calls, Jamaican and US officials are still actively tracking down and arresting the offenders:

    Also:
    It is a scam:
    http://info.pch.com/consumer-information/fraud-protection

Publishers Clearing House never requires any money, purchases, taxes, fees, or deposits of any kind to get your prize.

Publishers Clearing House DOES NOT call, email, FAX, mail, any advanced notice that you have won.

"If you are ever contacted by someone claiming to represent PCH, or claiming to be one of our employees,  and asked to send or wire money (for any reason whatsoever, including taxes); or send a pre-paid gift card or Green Dot Moneypak card in order to claim a sweepstakes prize – DON’T!  It’s a SCAM. If you are sent a check, told it’s a partial prize award, and asked to cash it and send a portion back to claim the full prize award, DON’T.  The check is fake, but the SCAM is real!

Publishers Clearing House does not operate this way and would NEVER ask for money to claim a prize award.  PCH employees would never contact you personally or in advance to notify you of a prize award.  Our prize awards are presented just the way you see in our popular TV commercials, ‘live and in person’ by our Prize Patrol, with balloons, champagne and check in hand - - and with no advance notification!"

Lady called from PCH said I had won this months second prized or 2.5 million. I said great please send me the check, she said that the IRS and the FBI are in charge of delivering the money along with the prize patrol. When I mentioned that seemed unlikely she hung up.
