Same as others,  Robo Voice says IRS . says I'm hiding money, important to call that number.
Who are these criminals?

The same thing than the others. I called back 6 or 7 times, no body did answer. Who are those people? What they want? We can't even take rest.

Just received a call and was left a message to call back, when I did they hung up on me.

Same thing...Didn't say IRS just said there was a fraud on the tax form...robo call

Left a message...Said there was a fraud on my tax return that I was hiding from the federal government.

Got 2 messages from this phone number (1-888-231-7078) claiming to be the IRS  saying it was time sensitive and urgent and after audit it was found that there was fraud and misconduct on my taxes which I was hiding from the federal government!
Thanks to this website I knew it was a scam!

two calls within 2 hours - one voice message, same as others - hiding money from the IRS or something of that nature - deleted the VM.  I need to get them to STOP!

just got another one what can I do to get them to STOP?!

Received a call from this number and the recorded message was the same scam as described by Kayla in her July  12 post

Just got a call from this number 800 number, stating I have fraudulently withheld informant on my taxes. I called back and a foreign person answered saying IRS ,I hung up on them.

just got a call and vm from this number. I called it back. they said that some of my tax forms were not filled out correctly and that I owe the government money. I can resolve the matter out of court or I can go the federal state prison in Alaska !!! I said I would settle and the sent me over to the resolve department, I started to ask lots of questions and then I asked for the guys name and number so I could call him back in 10-15 minutes. He hung up.

Got a call from this number saying fraud was found in my taxes and they were from the IRS. Please stop this number from calling me cause I have no fraud on my taxes

So I called the number back. Got hung up on numerous times. Finally got someone to give me their name. The name they gave me was Officer John Baker. So I said oh just like the character in the TV show CHiPs. Yeah got hung up on. So I called back again and asked for Officer John Baker. Got transferred to a completely different guy. Asked him if Officer Ponchorello still with them. He said yes. So I asked if they were still partners. He said no. I said that is to bad because they made a great team. Officer Baker said they were never partners I told him he was lying because I watched bust criminals. Officer Baker said he was confused and I told him yes you are. He hung up on me. I continued to call them until they blocked my number. With my hand free head set I was able to work today and harass them. My thought the more they talked to me the less chance they had of scamming someone

I have received several calls from this number.  The message cut off short because it went to voicemail.  I could tell it was a recorded or computer generated message.  I never answer a call if I don't recognize the number.  Always let it go to voicemail then check it out before calling back.

Got the same call, saying I owe money to the IRS, and to avoid getting audited that I need to call immediately.  There are some horrible people out there.
