- Rictor**UPDATE**
Disputed charge with my bank and they must have found evidence of fraud because my account has been credited back the full amount. Very relieved. I hope these [***] go down. - rem1204My sister thinks that these people are getting you information to sell it to other scams. I would not give them any of your information. Just call your bank!!! This is definitely a Scam!!!

- me too38.99 from my account this weekend also. Any info would be helpful! Where do they get my account info?
- FunnyBunnyJust found the same charge on my bank account and called the number. Woman who answered gave same reply "cancellation service, wouldn't say what company, etc." When she started asking for personal information, I hung up. It's an obvious scam....forget about giving any bank info for a refund. They'll just get more info from you in the process to scam you further. Lots of evil people out there! Had to cancel the bank acct.

- William W.I was checking my bank account and found a post of $39.87 taken from my funds.Usually,a charge to your account has a name of the person billing your account or a contact phone number. This charge had neither in any order for contact, just random numbers to call that did not match the billing host.I contacted my bank and they had to connect me to a branch that handles fraud. That area stopped my credit card and suggested that I fill out paperwork against that person(a company or business). The fraud department did have the actual phone numbers to contact and I got those numbers and stopped my credit card.I called the number and talked to a shady type who would not say who the billing "person"was, but cancelled my account with them and refunded to my account all monies taken. If this has happened to you, stop your credit card, file the paperwork, and get issued a new card with a new card number.Be careful just who you give that information out to.My connection with that service who was billing me was an old service that I had cancelled long ago,but they had billed me at a later date, probably in hopes that their charge would go unnoticed.I definitely am filing paperwork against them.
- Caller: "Online Payment"thats all it said

- SydViciousI just checked my account 20 minutes ago to find this 39.87 charge from an unknown online company. When I called the number, I got the "please hold" script. So I call my bank, and they tell me I have to wait for the transaction to clear before I can even dispute it! I'm very angry because I know this number is a scam, and the worst part is that they probably have more than just my account information. I've never even made an online purchase before, but recently signed up with PayPal so that I could. If they got my info, it had to be through PayPal. Either way it goes, I'm angry, disgusted, have ordered a new card with a new number and PIN, and will be glad when the bank refunds me my hard earned 40 bucks.

- MarkLooked at my credit card account tonight, and found a charge from this number. $38.99 as well. Only used my credit card twice in the past week, once to book a flight, and once at a Walgreens in Newark, New Jersey. Will be talking to my bank tomorrow.
- Tater| 1 replyWas just curious if anyone who got these charges at one time or another used SpankWire or any other porn sites with their card they got the mysterious charge on.
- Matt| 1 replyYupppppppp...just got a charge for $39.87 from "CHECKCARD 06/29 ONLINE PYMT 8884020881 PHOENIX AZ" ...Hey do any of you have a Bank of America account and have gotten the money refunded? I am going to call tomorrow to see what the deal is.
- Tater replies to MattI'm w/ B of A, and I have had things like this happen to one of my other accounts, and you have to call their fraud prevention department, they ask a few questions, credit your acct with any monies you're out due to the fraud, and they mail you a affidavit that you have to fill out and send back stating that you didn't have anything to do with it, and they investigate a little further and find you're good to go and the credit becomes permanent. It's pretty painless actually. Oh and they send you a new debit card. Hope this helps!
- Peter PrimeI noticed that a payment of £26.90 had been taken from my bank account. I had no idea how this happened. Now I know. How did they get my bank details? They are the scum of the earth.

- Christophe BedeauxI was charged about 40 USD on my Master Card. It was a fraud as I didn't pay anything online in US and the payment was unauthorized. I don't know how they get my card number.
- Lman replies to TaterI signed up for and canceled a Mr Skin account in March/April. That was the first thing I thought of as well...
