Got a call from "The office of Patrick Corbit". I think he may have moved to a new number, as his name appears frequently under another number.

We were your victims once till Ted Singelton screwed up calling my father and asking for personal info regarding our family after he took our $$$. Now a little over a year later your people try to do this to us again. Not going to happen pal!!! I filed a police report last year, had our credit report watched, filed a report with the better business company in your area as wellas my own,filed a report with a grievence commitee and am doing so again. The officer involved in this case is going to the DA in our area. So many Numbers you have, so many people you have....What really happened to Ted Singelton??? Is he someone else in your office now such as the elusive James Lombardo or John Reese?? Was he really excused or just a figment of your imagination? You can't send us a fax but want us to give you our info. Again I say its not happining. Threaten me with a suit once now twice and call me names and laugh at me!!! well apparently a lot of people are on to you and the other scum you employ, so we shall see who ends up having the last laugh now... Anyone who reads this needs to check out 800-504-5734 as well as 866-891-9725 and 888-579-9640. print out as much on these numbers as you can take them to your police dept and file a report then go see a lawyer that you trust. The more people that take these actions and file complaints with the New York Bar association and the attorney Grievance committee in Buffalo New York the better. I will be chcking and printing out any info on these phone numbers frequently so please keep posting. someone has to stop these people and together we can do it..... a&rs. by the way people at Mr. Corbetts office, nice false case or file #. Any Lawyer worth their salt will gladly fax proof of who they are to the persons they are trying to collect from. Hopefully I will have a REAL case # and an attorney calling you soon. please be aware that i am trying to collect any and all information regarding these people. Any and all information posted to this site and directed to my nickname regarding these people their many names, phone numbers and addresses would be greatly appreciated. I am meeting with a lawyer next wednesday ( the 27th of Feb. ) to discuss what can be done to stop these people from their imoral and unlawful practices. Thank you so much in advance of your postings. Also note that this lawyer has found out that there are several others that are sueing these people as well.

I recieve a phone call stating I had a civil matter in there office that concerned me and I needed to call back this 888-579-9640. So i started doing research and found all sorts of thing negative about this attorney. So I called my attorneys and they stated to start by seeing if he was an attorney and where. So I found his address as New York so checked out the bar website NYSBA.ORG, and sure enough there he is. So called my attorney again and he said to check and make sure he is still active, he was. Next step was look for his website found it patrickcorbettlaw.com. So I went to my attorney (who is also a friend) and we went over everything. Here's what he told me. Bottom line is if/when this attorney was to sue me he can charge me reasonable attorney in NYS thats anywhere from $200-500 an hour and its the attorney choice, whatever he bills. And the court will allow these fees in the final judgement. These judgements are then used to garnish wages in NYS thats 20% of what I make each paycheck until its paid, take any property that is fee and clear or that has equity in it up to the amount of the judgement. So I asked about all the negative stuff and my attorney told me bottom line is you look up anyone who does collections of any sort and there is going to be negative stuff about them, the people putting the stuff on the internet get paid everytime someone looks at it from google or other ad people. So I asked what I should do and my attorney advised to call them and see what its all about. So I spoke to a Jessie Webb who had called me and she was very nice, explained it was a loan (that I honestly forgot about) and I could set up payment arrangements on my debt of $575 to pay it off over my next few paycheck. So I called my attorney and we reviewed my contract I signed with the loan people (who are complete crooks, but I signed it and needed the money at the time) and I actually should have been charged alot more based on the contact. I will never take out a loan of that nature again. So I took the payment arrangements and set it up.
