I didn't answer but called back the number and it was for LHR Incorporated.  They are a debt collection company.

I have received two calls from this company on what appears to be an old debt of my father's. This debt is of his is over 5 years old.  He says they have called his house and now they are calling my house. They must be getting our phone numbers from our credit reports as both of us live in separate residences from the time this debt was incurred. I am not calling them back as I am not responsible for this. How can they just get your information and call you like that on something so old!!

I got a call from these people at 8:14am for someone named Dorothea.  The guy who left the message on my voicemail (Mike Alejandro)spoke to my voicemail as if I could hear what he was saying at the time he called.  You would think that if they hear the recording on the voicemail is not the last name that they are looking for that they would hang up.  The phone number he left to call back differed from the one on the caller ID.  The number he gave me to call back was 1-800-616-5473.

I called them back and let them know that they called for someone that doesn't live hear and the lady asked if I knew her and I said no.  She asked for my number and told me that she would remove me from the list.  We will see if that actually happens or not.  If not, I will be adding them to my list of blocked calls in my verizon call intercept.  This is definitely a service I would recommend if your phone provider offers it.  It has saved me from major hassles with telemarketers and debt collectors.

I get these phone calls i call them back to tell they got the wrong # because i got the phone # of the people that lived here before me but they call me a lier i just want them to quick calling & quick saying i'm lying

Get this - LHR called my mothers house trying to find my ex-wife: have no idea how they got my mom's number as she (my ex) now has a different last name and hasn't spoken to my mother for 8 years - they said "they have completed most of the paperwork but need to speak with Mrs. SuchAndSuch to complete it" and then gave 800-616-5473 and an extension and case number to call back... sounds like these guys are typical butt hole rip-off debt collectors to me... I'm NOT going to pass the message along to my ex - her financial status is not my conern any longer!

Same scam trying to collect really old debts which have gone beyond the statute of limitations (which means that they can not sue you unless you start to make payments to them). The original company which was owed an unsecured debt (like Sears in my case) has finally given up on collecting this debt and has sent it to this company (LHR) for collections

Over several weeks we received 3 or 4 automated calls saying something like: "This is LHR Incorporated. It is imperative that you return this call at 1-888-845-5995 as soon as possible."  There was no option to repeat the message and the call ended after that.  When I finally had a pen and paper handy on one of those calls, I got the number down and did call back.  They were looking for someone with the same last name as mine who I have never heard of.  The man I talked with was courteous and said he would remove our number from the list.

She is a debt collector who is employed with LHR trying to bait you!!!!

You can file a complaint with the do not call registery. I did and hope for a quick solution.

kimberly called me at 9:30 AM looking for my grandparents tried to tell them i don't speak with them and she says "so your not going to help me" and then hung up on me.  thank heavens for caller id (888-845-5995), called them back spoke with woman again, she started yelling, i yelled back, she hung up again.  called a third time to speak with manager and person that answered the phone hung up on me!  i was trying to tell them to make sure they didn't have my father's name (only difference between their names is middle initial) and they have hung up on my parents as well as left two messages on their machine (which the third person i spoke with denied and stated for some reason they only have my name and my grandparents name - hey [***] if you have my grandparents info STOP CALLING ME!!!!!  

they want my help but want to hang up on me then they can figure it out on their own .... if they weren't idiots they would just check yellowpages.com and make sure they have the correct number and stop harassing those of us that do not owe them the $$$  wouldn't be that bad if they would be a little more professional when trying to deal with wrong numbers and not be childish and hang up, even my 4 yr old knows not to hang up the phone or yell on the phone if she needs help.  

when i told kimberly i was going to report her she laughed and said "to who?"  if anybody knows where i can PLEASE let me know!!  they claim my number is off their list i don't believe them.  guess that's what i get from trying to save my parents frustration and them time on a wasted call to my parents.

They call I don't answer, no idea.

They called me last week. I missed the call but called them back. I spoke with Colleen, she was really nice, and asked why they called me. She looked up my home number (without me giving it to her, so they're tracing it) and said they wanted to speak with my boyfriend's brother. I laughed and said he didn't live here, he lives in Atlanta. I asked her what it was regarding, and she stated it was a "personal legal matter". I told her that I would give him a message to call them. I did pass the message along to him. They called again yesterday, so I called back and spoke with a different lady (didn't catch her name), but she was also very nice, and told me that she was going to remove my number from their list. I hope it happens!

they spelled a name very quickly Dio...Per...
i couldn't make it out and gave the woman on the phone a good piece of my mind to test her to see of she was legit.  she became upset and hung up on me.  i have no debts In collection and told her that when i returned her call.  she was rude to me and that tells me there that she was not legit and trying some kind of scam.  she would not spell the name for me again.  i gave her my name to verify it wasn't me.

they call asking for a family member and i tell them they Do Not Live Here!!!  i get calls daily now.
