Received phone call from this company stating I owed money for a previous incident that had already been paid.  Person threatened to have my driver's license revoked for not paying the $120 they said I owe them for settlement on the account.  Company could not give me a name and refused to prove that the money was owed to them.  Person stated "i do not have to send you proof of anything".  I feel that this is a fradulent company and certainly one that is NOT very friendly to deal with.

This place is a scam. They actually had me very upset this morning. I talked to Tom Craig at this company. He is supposedly the President. It must be a very small buisness for the president to be speaking to people that call. He even answered the phone. hahahaha

I keep receiving calls from this number.  I have not picked-up the calls; I'm letting my answering machine record the calls. All the representative says is that there is a problem with my driver's license.  They claim they are calling from a law office.  They do not give any further details.  I knew it was a scam because I just got a new license a month ago after losing mine.  There is nothing wrong w/my license.

I got this phone call this Monday evening around 4:30, he told me that my car insurance company didn't cover my car accident which was happend 3 years ago. If I don't pay $4,600+ in one hour, they need to ask DVM to suspended my driver's license. He said they are already asked DVM for back up last Thurseday. I told him no way because that case is already cleared 2 and half years ago. I told him I need to check with my insurance company first. He said alright but I still need to call back in one hour and pay. I asked him to send me the call back number to my E-mail. The # is 866-994-3872 and the sender's name is Sierrah Bryans<seb@hkcraig.biz>.But you know what? My agency was already close at that time. I called my friends and talked about this thing. They told me don't worry, because the information about the car accident are the public records, that's why they know my name, my phone #, and what time I got a car accident. I called them back and said I need to talk to my agency on next day morning. He said"Hey, do you understand English?" I of course understand. And he was so rude and said if I don't pay I cannot drive, what I gonna pay, by debit card or credit card something. I'm pritty sure that was a threating call. He know that most insurance companies close around 4:30, 5:00, but only give you one hour to think about it. And he tried to be professional but he was still cannot keep rational. I told him"please don't call me again, I'm sure you are a liar." I checked online and found this site and I saw these messages. So, I won't worry about it any more. But today, he called me again. I'm so sorry about that. I don't wanna see more people got this problem.

It's not only one clerk in that Associate. They at least have a guy and a lady. Actually when the first time he called me, I asked him why they didn't call me because the car accident was happened 3 years ago. He said he don't need to call me just ask the DMV to suspend my driver's license. I told him that I even didn't receive any mail notices. He said last time when they connect me is last May. I said I'm sure I didn't get any mail about this case. He said "you need to ask the post office."
And when I call back, I asked him again that why they didn't call me in this 3 years. He said they just got this case 3 weeks ago. See, they must be a scam!

A woman from this number called to tell me that my husband was in danger of not being able to renew his driver's license due to an accident he was involved in on Dec. of 2007! She went on to give me a claim number and told me that if i paid $500.00 over the phone today, that they would release the information to the Department of Transportation which would allow him to renew his license at the end of the month. Upon further investigation, the incident they were trying to collect for was not even involving vehicles! It was for Union Standard Insurance Company, involving a claim that was made by a homeowner back in 2007 for damages done to her carpet, supposedly, for work he had performed. However, it was unaware to us, and the claim was now being pursued by an individual collection agency who doesn't even have their facts straight before making a call! Upon requesting a fax or more info on the fine they were requesting from us, we are still on stand-by for an answer...

The usual extortion scam has scammers using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends. This is just a new variation of the same scam using insurance claim instead of payday loan data.
The FBI warns about payday loan extortion scams here http://www.fbi.gov/news/pressrel/press-releases/paydayloanscam_120710
The BBB has issued several alerts on this scam, just google "bbb.org alert phony debt collector"
Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.

The police do not get involved in taking your drivers license for a collection agency....These people need to be stopped, they did the same thing to me and my son....We all need to keep complaining about them and maybe they will get shut down. If they call me again, i'm going to call a Lawyer...I have been recording them too on my answering machine and saving the calls on my caller ID as proof of their calls...

They are a scam...Anyone can go to the court house and see public records, and if you have ever been in an accident, they will see when it happened...Everything is there for all to see...They are scammers, probably husband and wife....

I don't know about this...This sounds like a scam to me too...If someone was making a claim against your husband, they should have gone through a lawyer....Not a collection agency....I would call a lawyer if i were you...Don't get stuck paying for something that probably isn't even true...If someone is or did file a claim against him, you should have got something in the mail, or served papers or something showing a law suit has been filed...I really don't think someone can just go through a collection agency and file a claim against someone else....

This is a pretty slick scam. Called me with the same story threatening to revoke my license and other threats. Forget the BBB and someone get an address on this guy. Couple pickup trucks filled with some southern boys show up at his door will make him think twice about messing with honest people. Left a return call number, 866-994-3872.

This company left me a message on my answering machine saying my drivers license would be suspended from an accident in 2006.  I called them back and they said they wanted $389 and if I didn't settle on the phone for $199 that they would have my drivers license suspended and it would cost me $650 to get my license reinstated plus the cost of the claim.  I called my insurance company and they said all claims were paid. How do we stop these people!!

These idiots call my husband regarding his license getting revoked.  While he was speaking with them, I googled the number and all kinds of info came up revealing what a scam this company is.  I said how can a debt collection company in Florida have authority to revoke anyone's license?  They came off being very aggressive, but if you know your rights, you know how to handle them.  Once we informed them that we would record the conversation they immediately hung up.
I called the number back numerous times and informed them that if they want harassing calls, I will give them harassing calls.  This is nothing but a group of scammers in a small cramped apartment with computer access to consumer personal files.  That's how they get your personal information to make it appear that they are legit, but they are not.  Expose them for what they are.  These are scammers, they want your money and will use your personal information against you to get it.  Don't be fooled, be smart..!
