Never seen the number before talking about tax and fraud invasion try calling it back just a busy single no one never answer

This is a phone scam!  I received the same call on Jan. 4, 2016.  The person claimed to be from the irs and that a lawsuit was being filed against my name, not once did the person say my name, for tax invasion/fraud.  The irs doesn't contact people by phone. If you can block that phone number like i did.

I could hardly understand the person saying they were from the IRS and we're investigating me for tax evasion - totally bogus - NUMBER BLOCKED - DONE!

Seriously? I'm being investigated for Tax fraud and evasion?! Lmfao! My a$$! I pay my taxes,  in full, every year. Unfortunately, I never get a dime back. But, they are definitely paid in full when the return is sent in. So with that known, this has to be some kind of scam. Or perhaps,  it's a billing company using fraudulent scare tactics, which are highly illegal, to get Sheeple to fall for their bullsh*t and call them back. The only thing I can think of,  is a medical bill we've been in dispute over, for the last 2 years, due to being overcharged. Don't fall for this people. Turn these pieces of sh*t in. BTW, the idiot who left a voice mail sounded like a foreigner. If I had to guess, I'd say he had an accent of those from India.

These stupid idiots keep calling me about tax evasion/fraud.  I have never had a problem with my taxes or IRS.  So, they can go strait to ......., whatever!!  I just listen, laugh, and delete the caller ID from my phone.

They keep calling from multiple numbers and locations. I keep blocking it. Will someone do something about these parasites?

Samo Samo:  Indian or Pakistani accent.  I'm in deep trouble with the IRS.  Needed to call back or have my attorney call in 30 min or I would be in cuffs by the end of the day.  Caller Id indicates Sarasota, Fl.  It's the end of the day and I'm still shackle free guess I'm just one lucky guy.  Number blocked!

i got 2 voicemails from this number trying to threaten me about unpaid taxes or something. newsflash: it's scam. the IRS never contacts you by phone or email, MAIL ONLY. delete/block/ignore this number.

I received several calls from this # on Jan. 6th, 2018. I know all my personal business is up to par so I decided to question him and go along with the scam to see exactly what information he was trying to get out of me. Needless to say, he could not handle the heat I gave him because I switched gears and started asking him questions.  He hung up & I blocked the call.  JUST an FYI - I know the IRS would not call. This Is a scam and should be reported.  Actually the claimed name of the man calling is "Steve Martin".

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

As usual, didn't recognize the number and didn't answer.  Sad to say, had to disengage answering machine once again because of this non solicited calls which means I miss important calls whereas caller unable to leave a message.

They are foreign  Indians trying to CONVINCE you that they really are the IRS. I set my phone to redial and called them back 242 times.  They answered IRS every time. I argued with them, cussed them out, told them I would hunt them down and blow them up, the usual stuff I say to crooks and liars but they still tried to convince me they were the IRS.
Truly pathetic people and the scum of the earth.

Not possible.  Callers are located in India and Pakistan and as such beyond the reach of any US law.  Invest in a call blocker and do NOT pick up on call numbers you do not recognize.
