Called and was obviously bogus robo voice about being from usaa and having my master card (I dont have) locked.

I had a robot call for an Alaska bank and a master card I don't have locked. Glad I didn't go through the hoops.

Called by a computer informing me that 1st National Bank of Alaska master card was locked out.  I don't have an account with them although I am from Alaska.  It seems whoever is doing this is getting smarter and learning from our comments.  Another scam..

I had a robot call for an 1st National Bank of Alaska bank stating that my master card (that don't have) is locked and that I needed to enter the 16 digit number to unlock it. I do live in Alaska, but I do not have an account with this bank.

Glad I googled the number before calling it back. Not sorry I missed it now!

robocall from some bank in alaska claiming that my mastercard  was locked. i've no MC account, but pressed 1 to get to automated system.  no means available for connecting to phone rep. to find out how they got the number/initiate fraud inquiry, so obviously bogus. f*ckers called at 730am on a saturday morning.

I received a call from this number today at 6:37 pm. I live in Anchorage. I didn't answer the call, since I didn't recognize the number.

Call The bank asap and tell them what happened. They will shut down the card and issue you another one. Important to cancel it right away

Just received a call from this number... didn't answer and googled it and it led me here.  I also live in Anchorage, but don't have an account with FNBA which seems to be who this identifies as.

Also in Anchorage and received robo call this afternoon - clearly a scam as when you hit zero they ask for your credit card number - I typed in all zeros to try to confuse their computer

Got calls from this phone number on both my personal cell and my work cell.  I don't have a mastercard with FNB Alaska.  Called the bank and reported it.

I received a call from this number, but didn't answer because the night before  laround midnight I had received a call from another 949 number. It was the robot voice about a locked card. This has been going around a lot lately!!!

Totally bogus phishing scam.  Does anyone know how or who to report this to.  APD hardly responds to local credit card fraud with a local perp.  One out of town would be pointless to report to them.  I was worried that someone got a card in my name elsewhere.  Glad it was just an idiot phisher!!!!

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

This is an across state line fraud/pfishing scam attempt that is going through the entire 907 area code.  I live in central timezone and just got a call (midnight) so they have broken more than one law here, sounds like jailtime to me.  The FBI should be tracking this in short order as a federal crime.

Live in Alaska, got the call. Called back and it diverted to a 907 479 1212

That's the number for castle rock self storage in Fairbanks.  Wonder if that is also spoofed.  Otherwise, this won't take long for the cops to figure out!
