Caller ID says SecureHome, never leaves a message.  Expect the usual alarm telemarketers. DNC never seems to help, but I never answer. Blacklisted.

The  robot or caller did not answer from their end and disconnected without a message.

Unsolicited and illegal telemarketing call regarding wireless security system. Representative said they were in "my neighborhood" and I asked her what neighborhood would that be--she did not respond. Told her if she called again I would report them to the Attorney General. She apologized and said she would put my number on their do not call list. I am sure I will still get calls.

Suspected telemarketer. No message. Caller ID is securehome.

Received call from a Mr. Tyler of Secure Homes wanting to sell us a home security system. Said he was in the area. My wife answered the phone and hung up at that point.

This was a really slick automated voice recognition screening call.

I recognized the control voice as that from a similar call using the same automated screener from September 19th 2013 (from one "Robert Green")  ( https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-360-861-6939/2#p612585306739609349" ).

The robot is queued to advance in the call based on the respondent saying key words, as directed by the robot's questions.

Once I "qualified" for their alarm they put me through to a real person, but finally they disconnected the call (I think because the connection was poor and we had trouble hearing each other).

Here is a transcript of our "conversation":

[me:] Hello? Hello?
[they:] Hello? Hi. This is Jonathan Tyler. How are you today?

[me:] Jonathan Tyler.
[they:] Yes.

[me:] How are you today.
[they:] Can we continue?

[me:] Please continue. Please continue.
[they:] Now we're going to be in your area and we're giving away twenty wireless GE home security systems absolutely free uh and we're upgrading all the outdated landline systems to wireless systems again, absolutely free. Now the theives are cutting your phone lines on the outside of your house which disables your old outdated system. One in fifteen houses are being broken into everyday right now.

[me:] That is terrible news.
[they:] Are you the current home owner?

[me:] Yes.
[they:] Ok. Great! you qualify. Ok, let me get you to the specialist, hold on with me ok?

[me:] Yes.
[they:] Is that ok? Hold on. Thank you. They'll be with us shortly.

[me:] Yes. What's your name? " [electronic sound effect heard in background] " Hello?
[they:] Yeah. Yes. Are you there?

[me:] Hello? Hello?
[they:] Yes. He'll be with us shortly. Is that ok?

[me:] What did you say your name was?
[they:] Hello, good afternoon sir. Can you hear me?

[me:] Yes I can.
[they:]  Good afternoon sir, thank you for holding. My name is Hector. Um, I've actually just taken over the call. Now you're uh, uh, we're seeing if you're interested in the alarm system. Now are you a current alarm home owner? Or do you...

[me:] Uh, yes I am.
[they:] Ok...

[me:] I'm sorry....say again?
[they:] How old is your system?

[me:] Telephone system? What system?
[they:] No, your alarm system.

[me:] Oh, my alarm system. It's uh, home made. [pause] It's home made. I put it together myself. [pause] Hello? Hello?

MULTIPLE times over a couple of days calls have come in from this number.  The phone rings 4-5 times and when I get to the phone no one is there -- not even the hum of an automated call director.

When I answer there is no response, no matter how long I wait

Called our landline @12:02 P.M. CT on August 7, 2014. No message left on our answering machine. Caller ID reads "SecureHome."

I just got a call from 980-265-5604, my I.D. says Charlotte, N.C.
I answered and they hung up. I sure wish a lot of these callers can be stopped!
I am a disabled veteran and to get up to answer only to get hung up on or talked
into something I do not want is very bothering!

Security System Scam - Robotic as well.

Caller ID read...N CAROLINA with 1-980-265-5604.  I never answer such obvious BS calls.  But now I have a panasonic phone where I can block the dipwad callers and just imagine their big turd-filled brains spinning downward in the crapper.  HaHa LOSERS...you're blocked and my phone won't even ring if you ever call again.  [***].

HaHa.  The idiots called again.  Even though I have their 980-265-5604 number blocked and my phone doesn't ring when they call, the caller ID still registers the number.  So HaHa on your robo dialer...I have a robo blocker!  Perhaps it's time for the owner of the company attempting to scam people out of their money to waddle back out to the fields and return to humping the cows.  Idiots.

3 rings, no message (probably a telemarketer, jerks),.

Listed as securehome on caller id.   I do not answer this type of call and if they hang around long enough to get voice mail, they will hear that solicitors do not get answered and to go to he!!.

Called again @ 11:13 A.M. CT on  August 15, 2014 without leaving a message. Seriously, what's this company's deal? Somebody needs to shut them down. Until then, though, it looks as though I'll have to block their sorry rear ends.

Another Defender Security scam call hiding indentity?

Another unwanted scammer blocked... "Secure Home" left no message... has no life... We love our Call Blocking Phone. Saves on ammo.
