HAHA some dude named "alex" @ ext 249. he left me a message saying that he needed to talk to me about a check that he had for me...... i was kinda hesitant to call back...so i googled the phone number and found this site....so can collection agency do that? can they get in some sort of trouble? thanks

Leslie, I received the exact same letter from RoVo & Associates today, but the phone number they had entered is 1-866-202-5030.

Matt Thompson at FFG contacted me after I told him to contacted twice after I told him to contact my attorney.

I just received a call from this number from a guy named Matt Thompson ext. 261. He asked for my daughter, who has not lived with me for 21/2 years, then stated he was filing a civil case against her in the county she lives (by the way, he didn't know how to properly pronounce the name of  the county) and wanted to give her a chance to offset this action.  Is this a legit company?  Will they keep calling me?  Not sure what to do here.

A person name Mathew called my cell and left a message saying using a debt card ,and it declined was a federal offence.and i can got to jail for that.I called SSG assoc and told him i was on unemplotment and has ran out off benifits. Told this Matthew congress had not approved the extencions yet.He said when i needed the money,(Loan by Phone.)$200.which is now $608.Had made some payment to another credit agency.Left left this message on my cell phone.When antone could have heard it.Also to me he was going to take me to court and get a judement.total cost would be  three thousand dollars.Told him until it get unemployment again i couldn't pay.got nasty.

case number please????? these idiots keep calling me even though I have filed bancruptcy this is against the law and I have contacted my attorney to go after them. Once you file bancruptcy they can no longer call and harrass you

Hello...aren't you reading all the posts.  This company is a fraud.  If you really are skeptical ask for a proof of the debt and see what happens....oh yes they may have her SS# and stuff but that isn't proof of the loan.  READ UP...they aren't going to file a civil case against her....swear!!!    If you want to waste your time and money go ahead and pay them..... I'm sure they'd take it.  But.... you'd be supporting criminals.

you guys, they aren't frauds, I really do owe money from never paying back ace cash.  the question is whether or not the money i send them is actually going to resolve my debt.  THAT is the real question here. how can i be sure that no one is going to call/ harass me again asking for this money that i am about to pay FFG? and then what about my credit score?  is this already on my credit?  is FFG related to HC capital?  because HP capital treated me like [***] and harassed me at work, and threatened me, and now I'm dealing with FFG, and the lady i spoke with, delphine, is great, totally nice and offered me a payment plan.  all i needed from the start was a payment plan and i wouldn't be in this mess!

I received the same call from "Joseph" about a check I wrote with a Hollywood, FL landline number... how do they get a number in my area to call and then give me a 866 number to call back...

Call left on my voice mail, said it was Joseph at FSG Associates regarding some check.  I called back, asked for Joseph, but the person who answered said that he was Josephs boss.  He asked me if I knew two different people ( don't remember the names).  I said I didn't, he asked me for my phone number, which I gave him, and he said they had a wrong number and would cross me off the list.  I asked what the company did, but didn't really get a good answer.  Sounded like a collection agency.

They also call me. I owed money but that was long, long time ago and I took care of it. However, they keep bugging me and I am sure I don't owe any money anymore. Everytime I just hang and don't even listen to them. However, they call me at unusual hours and that really gets me mad. The other day I was playing this unique bid auction game on eUNIBID.com. The auction was almost over and I was placed second. I was about the bid one more time when they called me. And since I use SKYPE on my comp for my house calls a screen popped up when the called. By the time I closed the screen the auction was over. I could have won iPad for only $26.45.
So, who owes money to who? Are they gonna give me the iPad I could have won?

Man you are a sucker...If you don't think they are frauds then go ahead and pay them.  You must have enough for everyone....hey can I get a loan.  They aren't going to report it to the credit bureaus but if you want to make a payment plan with them...again...it's your money.

I'd sure ask for proof in writing if I were you.... but you've already given them a live gullable person to talk to so now you are a BIG TARGET.

I got the same call from "Joseph". He never says who he's calling for. I will never return the call. Annoying. There's no bad checks on my account.

Yes this guy called and said he wanted me to call back about a check I wrote for security purposes.  I dont write checks to anyone except for rent and certain things I know are going to get cashed right away.  I dont have any checks out that are in question because I am on my bank account everyday to make sure everthing is correct. No overdrafts and such. So this guys says he is from FFG. I will not call him back.

I think you have the right to pay ACE Cash Express back directly, without dealing with collection agencies. I would not deal with FFG at all - have they sent anything to you in writing?  They need to verify the debt in writing, as you are entitled to have the debt verified in writing.  I'm not sure if ACE will accept payments from you, but payday loan places have to offer you a payment plan.

I received calls from "Joseph" at FFG as well, and when I called back, a woman who answered the phone said that Joseph was unavailable and that I needed to settle my debt because I would be taken to court for fraud if I didn't.  I requested verification of my debt in writing and was told that I would receive it, and I still haven't.

Not only is there a cease and desist order against FFG there is also one against Ace Cash Express, Inc.  I agree if money is owed it should be paid but ACE should be more willing to work with the people who borrowed the money and are unable to pay the outrageous amounts they want in return.

Got the same message from Joseph. The thing is...I havent written ANY checks in about 10 years. I have only used debit cards since then, not to mention that I dont even have any bad checks out there. Wish Joseph would stop calling me. He calls about twice a day, even on weekends.

I've been receiving these calls for months both at home AND at work, which is illegal. When I've tried to answer, it's just a recording. I tried to call the number back one day and the woman who answered wanted a whole bunch of info to "remove me from the list." How can these people get away with this?
