- EmployerContinues to call our place of business, looking for an employee. He uses very vulgar language and has left voicemails with cursing and vulgarity.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Luc SkiwalcerCalled, left a rude message. Probably a scumbag debt collector. Claims to be calling from the FBI threatening arrest, etc. Obviously someone who has no clue of how U.S. law works, and the difference between a civil, and criminal matter. Stupid.
- Call type: Debt collector
- Billy YngvallThese are highly illegal attempts to collect a debt. Collectors are legally bound to tell you the truth, but they claim to be the FBI and that they are going to send the police, yadayadayada. Don't believe it. There are no debtors prisons in the United States. Them trying to draw money from your account is not a "bad check" as far as the state is concerned. They know this. By law they must send you a certified letter with the alleged debt, and you have thirty days to dispute it before any action can be taken. In my case, I am protected by the bankruptcy courts and they would have to go through the trustee before anything can happen. This means that they ultimately might have to wait 6 months or more to try and get their money back. Basically these kinds of collectors are nothing but scum bags and you can ignore them for a long time.
If you owe the money, and cannot pay it back: talk to a bankruptcy lawyer. Good luck.- Caller: A$$holes incorporated

- Receptionist| 1 replyAfter receiveing about 65 phone calls within an hour, I finally got to talk to someone who could give me some answers. They are not from the united states as they claim. They are in India not far from Bombay (Mumbai). What a joke. The (manager) that I talked to then wanted to be friends on facebook! Really!!! The first guy kept calling saying motherf**ker. As soon as you would hand up he would call right back. He then told me his name was Albert Johnson clearly NO! I asked him what it was regarding he said a very private matter. I said if this was a private matter you would not have called a business 65 times. He again went on with the profanity and then started with vulgar statements. We were finally able to block the number. Whoever employs these people needs to have a harassment lawsuit filed on them.
- Caller: YMax Communications Corp
- EmployeeThese guys have called both my home and work phone repeatedly, claiming to be with "law enforcement". Very rude and threatening.
- Caller: Liars
- Call type: Debt collector
- AngelaThis a scam. They keep calling saying I owe them money but won't tell me the company I supposed owe, the original amount, or when I borrowed it. He kept trying to get me to write a statement that he dictated word for word saying I owed the debt and agreed to pay it. Then wanted me to sign it and email a pic of it to a gmail email address along with a pic of my drivers license. Then he wanted me to purchase a prepaid visa and use that to pay this alleged debt. Said his name was Steven Johnson. No one with that accent is named Steven Johnson.
- Caller: Claimed be payday advance
- Call type: Debt collector
- RossI just got a similar call on my cell phone. Dude from India -- lol, named Isaac Benson -- telling me I owe an undisclosed amount of money for a payday loan. I told him, "Sir, I've never taken a payday loan."
He insisted repeatedly, explaining that if I do not pay, there will be sticks shoved up my butt (by him personally?). "There will be so much blood," he said.
Who the hell are these crazies? I, too, was given MA-9508527300 as my case number, hence how I arrived at this site.
I couldn't help but laugh at this guy, but that only incensed him more. He quoted my parents address as mine, new my place of employment and bank account info for an account I closed 3-4 years ago.
I fear for my butt.- Caller: Cyber Crimes Investigation

- MikeScammers. Keep calling claiming a debt owed to a payday loan store (which we have never used one). Threats of physical violence (the supervisor repeatedly told me "how would you like a burning stick up your ass!") when i called him out on being a scammer. They also call from a number in texas (2103996550), and at one point tried claiming to be from a cybercrimes unit.

Keeps extending the time and day the court papers will be submitted. He has told me he will come to my job and close it down, he's only try to help out, and on and on, I could keep going. Lastly when I told him to serve me with the legal paperwork he gets even angrier. Can I do anything to stop this?! Apparently the police say they can't.- Caller: Cci

Sorry that's there's not much you can do - you can print out this thread and give a copy to your HR Dept and/or manager so they know you're being harassed by a scammer. Your employer can also ask their telecom provider to block the number(s) this jack@ss is calling from. Otherwise, report your caller to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.

www.naag.org - you can find your state AG here - Tamianth replies to JanetFor your own home, you can get a call blocking device and block them, as for your job, they may be able to install blocking equipment - they should talk with their service provider. They should also file complaints along with you on this. Don't talk with these people and don't call them back.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers. - alldrywallfinishing| 1 replyWe get a call to speak to an employee. And when I tell him he isn't here he gets very vulgar and first he is gonna smack my face I told him come do it. Then he told me he was going to stick his d*ck in my mouth when he gets here and threatens to take care of me. I hung up he called back and he told my 18 year old he was gonna shove his d*ck up his ass if he didn't transfer him to me. After threatening our lives my son hung up and we refuse to answer the phone. I am more worried about this jerk getting my 9 or 6 year old on the phone and scaring them. How can we stop this jerk?
- Caller: Cyber Crime Investigation
- Tamianth replies to alldrywallfinishingSee my post above for reporting this guy. Also file a complaint with your phone service provider and local LE as well. Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
- TammyBlowing up our work phone and just says obscene things. We have told him to just keep talking and stay on the line while we had the number traced and he hung up, and now a day later he is resuming his barrage of phone calls. We have requested our telephone service provider to block the number, so I'm not sure why the calls are able to come through, still.
- Caller: Unknown, obscene caller
- BOk to ignore these calls from 201-443-4213? and really an indian speaking person with Anthony as his name? and calling place of employment is illegal
