- SCAMThis is a scam call, they want to "give you" a grant from the government. All you have to give them is your bank acct info hahahahaha ya right! Check your phone for the option of an auto-reject selection and add this # to it. They will call from other #'s but it slows them down.
- Caller: SCAM
- Kathleen Verticchio| 2 repliesReceived "The CALL" today informing me that I was selected to receive a government grant for 7000.00, followed by, "OK?". So OK, here we go again. My response was, "Oh, I'm so happy you contacted me so that I can give you my drivers license, bank account numbers, my SS#, and anything else you may think I'm stupid enough to provide in order that you can proceed with your stupid scam which carries a fine of imprisonment, not if, but WHEN you are located. And SHE got mad at me. Ha.

- KPeteThus man is foreign. Heavy accent. Asked for someone not connected with my phone number which I've had for 18+ months. Asked him to remove my number from their lists, he hung up. Same man called two days later. (Accent, syntax, frequency, tone, etc. all the same) I told him I want my number removed from their lists. He said "huhn". So I said I need to speak with his supervisor. He said "what for ". I told him because I asked for a supervisor, and since I have asked for a supervisor per their policies he now needed to put a supervisor on the phone. He waited 3 seconds then said" hello, this is Henry, I am the supervisor." I told him no, the voice is the same, you are the same person. I need the floor supervisor. He then tried to lower his voice and said he's the supervisor. He waited 3 seconds, then again said he was the supervisor. I told him I know he thinks Americans are stupid, but not this one. I insisted that I needed HIS supervisor, the person HE answered to. He hung up.
- Caller: No Company Name Was Given
- KPete replies to Annoyed| 1 replyYeah, I called it ad well. How can a number that just called and keeps calling be disconnected? The FCC shouldn't allow that to happen. Government inaction us what allies these scammers to be so successful. UGH!!!
- Tamianth replies to KPeteMost of these calls are coming out of India and Pakistan. And the numbers are "spoofed" . You have a bit of reading to do here, a lot of this has been in the news..

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

- SusanThanks for your sitge! I received this call on Monday & didn't answer. No message left. I received it again yesterday (Thurs) and when I answered a male informed me that I was selected to receive a government grant for 7000.00, followed by, "OK?". My response was, "I don't think so. I know you're a scam & you need to remove me from your calling list." I received the call again today & a female asked for my daughter (who is using my number to apply for jobs). I responded, You need to remove me from your call list. My daughter is only 15 & I will report your scam if you don't remove my number from your call list!"
I'll rememember to tell them next time their scam carries a fine of imprisonment, not if, but WHEN you are located.
Is there anywhere else I should report this number?- Caller: not identified
