Called at 8:55 PM, claiming to be some political organization.

Some stupid politician running a poll to find out who you're voting for.  Need to find out who sponsored the poll and make sure they are NEVER elected for anything.

Stop calling me! Stop Calling Me! STOP CALLING ME!

They call over-and-over-and-over for 2 days now.  How can I make them stop!

Political crap...Who's my Mayor vote.

Please realize that political calls do not fall under the DNC ( nor do some survey's or charity calls).  What you need to do is tell them you do not want to receive their calls, and make sure you do a opt out with all the political parties.  Then, if you receive calls, go that persons web site and under their contact us page, write them and tell them to place you on their internal dnc list !

The other thing that will help, if you have a cell phone, if it doesn't already have call blocking, there are free call blocking apps online you can get for some phones. If you have a land line, google call blocking devices. There are phones also available with call blocking but they do not hold as many numbers as devices do. Many of the devices run around 50.00 or less. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

CID said Unknown Name, but I figured it was another political call. I listened to the message and was surprised to find out that it was being delivered in person. He asked if his candidate could count on our vote in her run for mayor. I told him "no". He politely thanked me for listening and said to have a nice evening. It would have been nicer if he hadn't bothered to call and disturb my peace and quite.  At least he had the sense to call at a decent time and not late in the evening.

You can't tell them to quit. Not a live person and if you don't respond to the survey they keep calling back more and more.  I filed criminal charges for harassment.

If you do some research, you'd know it's coming from the RNC. Or perhaps the NRC.

I have received numerous calls from this number-- all I get are unwanted calls on my landline.

Which falls under the loopholes of the DNCR.

That is why I also said look into a call blocker. And they can be reported, two such company's just got into trouble.

I was referring to the Do Not Call Registry (DNCR).

I imagine that they are JUST using the Federal Trade Commission's(FTC) DO NOT CALL Registry that we all signed up for as their cold call list to make calls. They do this because they know that the federal government is a lazy bunch of do-nothings that won't enforce jack. The whole thing is a joke.

QUIT calling and bothering me !!   If I can determine who you're calling for,  I 'll make a point of voting AGAINST him or her.
