214-586-0999

I just received the same type call from the same number, have you ever found out who this was?  I thought maybe a collection or skip trace co.  Who Knows just currious.

it's not a conspiracy when someone is trying to call you from out of the US it has to go through a process of going through whoever owns the local phone networks and satellites, verizon, at&t and other networks are US based and other countries including Mexico have their own providers and its there attempt to verify the number that a person is trying to call you on. For those that have known someone who was calling from out of the country right after you recieved the 214 number the actuall call should have followed soon after from whoever was really trying to get a hold of you

Hopefully this info may help. I use a phone service on my PC called Skype that allows me to call other PC's that have Skype installed, free of charge, and also for an annual fee I can call telephones anywhere in the US with no additional charges. There is also an option to be given a phone number and being able to receive calls from telephones on my PC for an additional annual fee. I don't have the incoming service and therefore I haven't been issued a phone number. Normally when I call people they say the caller ID shows up as unavailable or 0000123456, but this morning I made a call and was told the number showed to be 214-586-0999. This was a first for a different ID other than those mentioned above so I did a google search to see what the results of the number would be and as a result I found this forum. Most likely you're receiving calls from someone using their PC and when you try to call the number back you're not getting the person who actually called due to them not paying to receive calls from phones. It's probably going through a control center of some kind. There could be other reasons, but I wanted to at least mention what I know to be the case here. Have a good day.

I just received a call from 214)586-0999 on my cell phone.  I did not answer but was on the internet.  I immediatley googled the number and found this blog!!  How wierd!!  What's even more bizzare is that a moment later, my voicemail was ringing.  I retrieved the voice mail only to find that it was my husband calling from our home.  The 214 area code is in  Texas...I live in 801.  This is just too wierd for words!!!

The call is probably through an Internet service - many people that travel pay a flat fee to make unlimited internet calls from anywhere, even internatonally from their laptop or PCs. I have a musician friend that travels a lot and uses it, sometimes this number shows up and other times the # reads 000-014-1589 for example.

have received call from this guy to he is off my space he says he lives in west Africa his dallas number is 214-586-0999 this guy is a preditor and more than likly a pedafile please report to police.

Can you spell scam?

I am un New York.I got calls 3 times from 214-586-0999, but no response from other side. As i was expecting a call from my wife from India, i tried calling her. She said she tried to call me all 3 times, and she could hear me. But i was unable to hear any thing. So, its entirely not a scam.Its for the telecom technologists to explain.

Yup, received a call from this number this afternoon, and five minutes later got a call from my good friend in Kuwait.

Yesterday I called my mom in PR, but she couldn;t pick up the phone, so she called me back. On my caller ID was this # , but I didn't pick it up because I thought was telemarketing. My mom called again and left a message in my voicemail and my call ID had the same # not her home phone #.
