I just had a missed call on my cell from this number last night.  It was really weird.  I missed a call from this number (in Dallas), but I got a voicemail from my parents (and no missed call registered).  They called from their landline, so I am thinking that perhaps they tried to call at the same time as those other people, and they got dumped directly into voicemail.

Got call at 4am!!!! When called back an automated voice told "Please wait while I connect your call" followed by long music, hang up after a min, not sure how to avoid these crazy calls.

i recieved a call from 214-586-0999 margaret lopez of clayton mexico. tonight 4-10-07. she threatoned me and my family. then hung up. here is the big joke  so beware. the scam is  to get u to call back so she can get a cheap thrill or say she is the one who is being harassed. knowing here real phone  num  and being on  meds 4 a psych  condition compulive disorder i take the bait. alot of calling cards on the market have num as such and ive recieved many calls from places like palm springs and beverly hills places that would confuse me.many times i had calls where she faked as suicide threat or love hate type. these numbers are not untraceable but very hard to explane.

the number kept call me over and over on Apr. 11 morning. I do not want the number call me again.

I just received a telephone call from this number...can't explain it and it gave me some concern as I have recieved telephone calls from this number in the past...how can we stop it?

I received a call from a co-worker from Mexico.  Usually the number shows up as 'unknown number', but this time it was 248.586.0999.  Weird.

I received a call from this number today 4/12/07 when I answered and it got disconected when I called back I waited like for 15 min listening to some trans music and a message sayinh "Please wait to be connected"......

Same happened with me. I also got text message from this number to call back. It was unknown number for me. So I decided not call back but after 1 hr, I thought someone may be looking for me. When I called back, there was auto recorded message " Please wait while I connect your call" and then music started.
Can we track this number or file a police complaint about this disturbing caller.

i just recieved one od these calls and then it called back again, and got a friend on the phone, htey were in on a cruise ship and calling from Cozumel Mexico, i asked for the detials and found out that it is through a calling network. Did a little research and found out it was through a network of international calling for access codes.

I just got a call from this number also but it was from my friend in Ghana.  This is really weird because the number that USUALLY shows up is his international cell #.  Yes, I would have to agree that this is really weird.

the same thing happened to me. it was my wife calling me from mexico.

I also got  phone calls from 214-586-0999.  Most of the time it was an unknown number on my cell phone, but once, just once, it left the phone number.  I too called it back and just got that lame music.  However, after being on here and reading about other peoples experiences... and decided to keep answering till I got to talk to someone.

On around the 8th call today I answered and heard someone trying to talk but it sounded like a cell phone out in a bad area all crackin up ya know...  then a few calls later I answered and it was Premier Bank Card trying to get ahold of me.  They are not allowed to leave you messages unless you request it evidently. But, they DID say that they had been trying very often the last few days to get ahold of me.  After this call ended, I have not received another call.  SO, if ANY of you deal with premier bank card, and like me havent paid your bill in a few months, you are getting called by their collections department.  I DID ask where they were, and they said in Texas...  but they are part of a call center calling for Premier Bank card, based out of South Dakota, making the collection calls for Premier Bank Card....

what ever it is its automated. been getting calls since last night. I say hello and it tells me to wait for my caller then the wierd music comes on. Followed by another call on call waiting with no caller id. Nobody says anything on that call either.

WTF... The number called several times and then never left a message. When I finally picked up, it was some spanish speaking guy. I told him to go to hell and he kept calling back. Is this some kind of ridiculous prank?

this number called at 10:30 pm strange music no answer when called back. I use to live near dallas and did alot of business transactions there for hiusing for the elderly. moved to ny to raise kids and away from the rat race. they called back again 2 mins later andwoke the kids thanks you a!? hole. do not call again

I too received same call three times in 10min. What is going on?

I just got a phone call from this number. After reading this blog, I called my dad in Mexico and he told me he'd just barely called me. It seems that this number might be a routing number from AT&T since that's the service my dad has down there. If anybody gets another phone call, make sure to ask if the long distance company is AT&T.

My husband is in Woodbourn NY and I'm in Monroe NY, about 60 miles apart.  I called him from the house phone and he said that the number that appeared on his mother's house phone was 214-586-0999 / Dallas, TX.  The connection was bad and he couldn't hear me very well and he said he'd call me back. When he called, the connection was much clearer.  This has happened three times this weekend but only when I've called his mother's house.   Very Strange!!!
