They called and said I had a case against me.

I keep getting calls from this phone number and many others its a scam

they told me the same thing

I just got a call from them too - tried calling back but he put me on hold and I got suspicious. Anyone know what this is about?

Pre-trail intervention.    At least that's what they call themselves. Basically a debt-scamming operation.  They all claim to be some kind of pre-legal something-or-other.  Total scam.    Don't call them back, all you'll get is a lot of useless threats.

Ignore them and block their calls.  I'm pretty sure they are working out of Texas.

I've been getting calls from all types of people from pre-trial. I already checked with my local court office about this. they just keep telling me ignore them. If they were a real legit thing. They would have sent you something in the mail to prove it.

Don't worry its a scam.

I got a call from a different number same person then today I got a call from 2343124851 same person  said his name was Darren anderen from pti and he have a case on me call almost every day yestday the number was 6145150400 same name Darren anderen saying the samr thing.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I get tons of calls from them daily...they are nothing but scammers!!!!  I have started to give them a taste of their own medicine I continue to call them back too back for about an hour straight until they get sick of me and stop answering the phone!!!!!

I got that same call from Darren Anderson from PTI that a case was filed against me and if neither me or my attorney of record does not return the call he will note that I have void my right to counsel he gave the number as 234-312-4851 and to govern myself accordingly.  I get these calls very often I have an attorney right now because I did do payday loans online but have been paying them so what it is that they can some how access your information from when you apply for these loans.  It is time with all these post with the numbers that these people get stopped from doing this to people

The problem is, no one knows where they are located.  I'm pretty sure they are in Texas, but I have no address.  Then again, it's most likely just a group of criminals that rent a house and work from there.   Don't call them back and don't talk to them. If you talk to them, they might sense you are vulnerable and then they start hammering you with repeated calls. They tend to pick on women, single mothers and the elderly.  They have all your financial information and a lot of personal information.   Also, invest in a call blocker.

The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency).  
They continue to bother  you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.

I am receiving all kinds of these calls.  I received one today from this place.  I receive at least one call a day from a pre-trial investigation or an alleged law firm stating there is a case against me and that I have an unpaid debt and they are filing suit and charges against me, etc.  Each time I have found numerous others out there that are receiving the same scam calls.  I HATE THIS! What can be done?  Short of changing your number....

they have called me 4 times now, most recently yesterday 8/25 saying there is a case against me and to call or have my attorney call right away.

They called my employer and asked for my address totally scan I had my wife call and they didn't even ask about me just wanted all her info it's totally a scam do not call do not give them any money and report them if they call you
