Our office gets called from this number relentlessly. They always leave the same message saying to call their client services department. The caller ID says "Citi Management"

I received a phone call from this phone number and the lady tell me her name is Investigator Williams and she was talking real slick saying to me why haven't I returned her phone call she been leaving me messages. That I have 2 charges against me  that I had taken out a Pay Day loan in November 2009 which is lie I have never taken out a pay day loan then this lady asked me to verify my SS # as I told her I am not providing her with that information , she became very rude and I hung up the phone.  Then she calls back 30  mins later from a different number this time she is a Detective Melissa really please cut it out . 1st off a Detective do not deliver court papers and 2nd of all in any state you can look online to see if you have a pending case against you . Please cut it out and stop trying to scare people out of money, enough is enough

this lady won't stop calling telling me she is taking my car. And she is taking our welfare benefits which we don't even receive haha! She is going to garnish my husbands wages and calling the police to take my kids away from me because I'm unfit for having this payday loan which I've never had!  

She is a scam artist tell her you have a lawyer and call this man he is a attorney from NYC who handles this type of cases.212-796-0930. He will help you he helped me they called me 20 times a day

Whoever is calling you is in TOTAL violation of the law.  Among other things --threats of wage garnishment (only by court order),  taking your children, taking the car, etc.  DEMAND written validation of the debt MAILED to you (post office).  You are correct- 99.999% scam.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

Got call saying I was on file for a law suit. From a pay day loan 4 years ago. Which they couldn't provide the correct amount that was given to me but I owe them several thousand dollars. If I don't do anything about it I will go to jail.

Got same call saying they are garnishing my wages they even called my sister!!! It's a total scam and it's illegal !!  

Agent Bob Jenkins about payday loan in Nov 2011.  Capital Claims is the company.  Called from 254-829-5632, gave me two numbers to call back since I told him he called me at work and I was unable to talk to him at that time..844-886-5598 and 678-245-4223.  Scammer wanted to make settlement on $1500 or case would be forwarded to court.

Got a call from a Tracy Green with Capital claims stating she had a file with my name SS# and DL# attached. I don't have anything out there am not delinquent on anything. She even called my work number! This needs to stop!! Who can we turn these people in to for complaints? This is such a scam!

I got a call today asking me for a daughter-in-laws number, I told her not to call my personal cell and they told me they would continue

I called later on hoping I would get another person, she told me we haven't called you since 11am...my number must have popped out .  She again asked me for the numberr.  I told her they had my number so  find hers.  She replied I will continue to call you unless you give it to me.  I told her I would just block her and she said go ahead I will call other family members.  I told her I was going to call the attorney general and she said go ahead they can't do anything...Talk to you tomorrow

Caller keeps threatening to serve papers at my job or home. She stated that I owed money on a payday loan. When I requested an address to have all collection activities done through mail she hung up.  Ms. Williams then threatened me again with papers. They are breaking multiple laws.  It is a total scam.  

Keep getting multiple calls from this number saying i owe money from a previous pay day loan from like 4 years ago which is a lie and cannot give me any details just threatening to sue me. complete scam not the first time I have been tricked by these types of peopl

Keep gettin calls from this number stating I owe from a payday loan back in 2012. She was speaking so damn fast that all I got is she is a supervisor for this agency. If I call back today they will settle my $4800 debt with 30% discount of $278. Dont think that is 30% But hey They are the smart guys.. LOL> NOT! Even called my works personal phone line. Now today they called my phone asking for My husband. When I said wrong # they hung up and I could hear the actual receiver of the phone hang up.

Receiving calls from a "miss Davis" staying I owe money to a bank. She didn't even get the name of the bank right and my savings ess closed 8 years ago. I am friends with a few people who work there so I called them to check my old account and they told me I had closed it in good standing that I don't owe anything, that nothing was ever sent to collections. Who is this person?

OMG! This lady called the atty I work for!  She hung up when I read her the law only then to call back and ask for a manager (me) and wanted to tell my atty how I steal??? Sorry MRS Williams

Mrs. Williams a very rude lady, of some payday loan place keeps calling my place of business, and harassing me using horrible language.  Then she turns on the recorder as Ive told her not to call my attorneys office.  Calling me a thief to my employers.  She is violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act.

STOP CALLING OR TELL ME WHAT THIS IS ABOUT. $757 is a very odd number to request???? MRS WILLIAMS at the above #
