I also got a phone call from 323-318-3008 @ 9:21 AM, it showed "California", answered it and was nothing but music so hung up.  Don't know who or what it was but will be listed as spam so as to never answer it again.

I received a call on my cell phone from this number. The recording identified them as "Account Services" and stated that they are calling about my "credit card account". They went on to say, "there are currently no problems but you can lower your interest rate", press 1 to speak with a rep, or 2 to discontinue further calls.

I get this same type of call literally once or twice a day from "Account Services" on my land line. I have tried telling them to take me off their list, but they continue to call. I have tried blowing a whistle in the phone when the rep picks up, but they still call. Now, when a call comes in from them, I simply answer and immediately hang up, not allowing them to play the recording, in hopes that they will eventually stop calling, thinking it is a non-working number. I am not sure if it will work or not, but I don't know what else to try.

Recording states that my credit card is eligible for a lower rate. I pressed 1 and a person came on the phone.  I told him I was on the no call list and not to call anymore.

Rachel from Card Services really gets around! This time she called from Los Angeles, California offering me an opportunity to reduce my card interest to as little as 3% if I gave her my credit card numbers, my bank account numbers and my social security number so she could enter me into her data base. I really believe that Rachel is a made up name and that "she" does not exist and is a front name for a scam of great size. Every week I get a dozen calls from different numbers all identifying themselves as Rachel!

The DNC doesn't handle criminal scammers. Its not law enforcement.   Criminals, like card services,  are the job of FBI, FCC,  etc.

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Los Angeles. Didn't want to talk to me bad enough to leave a message. Don't answer calls from people you don't know. If it's legit, they'll leave a voicemail.

323-318-3008 was a telemarketer stating my credit card is eligible for a different interest rate, blah, blah, blah.  I am on the do not call list since its inception.  This is a scammer.  I have reported this number and other to the FTC and I'm still getting robo and telemarker calls.  STOP IT.

I'll bet that over the last three years calls from these people amount to well over 250.  The person's name changes... Rachael, Bridgette, and a host of other people are going to lower my interest rate.  They think.  I have tried answering and asking them to stop, I have not answered, I have pushed a button to have no more calls.  Nothing stops them.  Luckily they have not found my cell number as yet but eventually they will.

Just got a call from this number to my cell and it was an automated recording named "Heather" calling about my credit card account. I hung up after that since I had also gotten this type of  call on my home number a few weeks ago. I think they maybe trying to get credit card / bank info..

I've also been getting calls from this number (323-318-3008) and an "unknown" number.  They identified their self  as "Account Services" said they were calling about my "credit card account". Stating that there is not a problem with the account but I could  lower the interest rate.  I don't know what they say after this because I've always hung up.
