Maybe as much as a couple of months.Always left the answering machine to pick up because I don't answer calls I don't recognize. Picked it up this time and a woman with a strong accent asked for my husband by name. I said she had the wrong number and hung up.

I am a Canadian, so I know that under Canadian law, if you ask a telemarketer to put you on their "Do Not Call" list, they must *immediately* cease trying to market you and remove your number from their lists.
I got one call from this company, so I faxed the following letter to them:
Dear Sirs:
Please add the phone number xxx.xxx.xxxx to your "Do Not Call" list. We do not want to receive any more phone calls from your company.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

louise - 16 Jun 2008Thanks for the tip. Another number that calls constantly is 1-800-391-9462. I called that number and got an answering machine that asks to leave your number if you want to be on their "Do not call" list. We'll see if it will stop

Jess - 20 May 2008I just received a call from that phone number pretending to be my bank and trying to offer me some kind of insurance and they wanted me to "confirm my information" I told him that my bank never comes up as a private number and I would appreciate it if they didn't phone me again... called my bank they had no record of anyone calling (surprise. So we'll see what happens now.

Carolyn/Colorado - 29 Mar 2007We receive calls from this number frequently. Caller ID says "unavailable." Once we say hello, there is the click click. They never say anything -- even when voice messaging picks it up. Our number is also unlisted/unpublished, so I would suspect it is random computer dialing.
