- AnonymousThese people are fake debt collectors trying to scam money out of people. They called to harass family and friends with a court summons. The number originates from 509-414-6769 but they leave a 877-988-8867 number. I called them back asking them to mail some type of proof of what bill they were talking about but they want to verify personal information first. Never give out any information to these idiots.

- The AnalystWhen I answered this call, there was no one at the other end. It's not the first time either. So, I decided to use my phone service call blocking feature to keep them at bay.
- Ben Morganfraudulent debt collectors called my step mom and step brother too gave no information not legitimate
- Carl MillerJust received a call from 509-414-6769. Caller informed me that he was calling to serve me with a summons. I informed him that a summons cannot be served over the phone, but must be served in person. I then informed him that I know who he was -- that his company buys old debt lists and attempts to collect money on old accounts. He then decided to insult me, telling me that "maybe (I) should pay my bills". I told him that if he was legit, maybe he should be more professional, then referred him to our family attorney. Save yourself the trouble -- give them no information, tell them get informed on their Fair Credit laws and then hang up.

- anonymousGot a call from 5094146769. Gentleman on the phone said he was looking to serve a summons to me, but mumbled so badly I had to ask him to repeat himself several times. Finally I told him summons had to be served in person. He said he worked for a 3rd party trying to collect a debt. I told him I wasn't at this number.

Received a telephone call from unidentified male attempting to verify that "Ignacio" (Last Name Unknown by this writer) would be present to receive legal notice. After I stated the person's name he mentioned was not known to me, the caller stated that my number would be removed from their list. I thanked him and the call was terminated- Caller: Caller did not self identify
- disenchanted1Pretty sure it's the latest scam debt collector looking for the guy who previously had my phone number. I would think after five years I'd quit getting calls for this guy but anyway ... Had a previous call from this number a couple weeks ago. Showed on my caller ID but left no message. Today there was a message on my answering machine although just some noise and voices in the background ... might have been a hangup once they realized they didn't have a real person on the phone.

- Freaked out ExGot a call asking for ex husband (divorced him 20 yrs ago, no kids or contact since). My ex wouldn't even have my current number to give. Didn't catch "company name" just asked for him and I was like "how'd you get this number?" And they said "in his file" and ended call. I bet they are using those pay for online services to data-mine public info and managed to pick up my name by association of marriage records and found my phone number because merchants sell our info and it's easy to miss those checkboxes in the fine print, pre-filled authorizing it. 😠

- annoyed ex girlfriendReceived a call from (509) 414-6769 asking to speak to an ex boyfriend that I haven't spoken to in 4+ years. The guy on the phone asked if my ex was available to receive some legal documents. When I asked what the documents were for, the guy stated that they were for "a complaint that was filed against him".
I began to tell the guy that I haven't spoken to my ex in years and the next thing I know - he had hung up on me. - STEVEthese guys have been calling me for years for a David Green to serve a summons. I've had this number for 5 years. They call me at least twice a week and I tell them every time that I have no idea who this guy is and tell them to lose my number. They still call back, hang up on me, get irate with me and give me no information as to who they are. It's bull [***] and I wish I could find out who they are so I could sue them for harassment.
- DoraCalled looking for my brother, which we have different last names and I asked how did you get my number and the caller didn't give an answer. When my brother called back the caller hung up on him, my brother refused to give out his personal information to the caller.

- LillyOver the past couple of days I've been getting calls from (509) 414-6769 during work. Everytime I go to check to see if the caller left a message.....nothing. I called my partner to check to see if he recognized the number he said No. Curiosity kicked in I vowed the next time the phone # rings up I'll be sure to answer. The next time came 5 minutes ago the caller asked for Ailien. Without no hestitation the caller informs me that he's looking to serve "Ailien" a summons and if I could past the info on. Obviously the caller is running a scam....under the privacy act the caller is prohibited from disclosing the nature (business/purpose) of the call. Secondly, you can't serve a summons via phone. Thirdly, if the caller had Ailien's info he would
have contacted this infamous Ailien.....lol. And lastly, had the caller stop to ask the most important "May I speak to Ailien or leave her a message" I would have told him he had the wrong #.....unfortunately he decided to continue on and I decided to end the call. I hope he finds this mysterious "Ailien".- Caller: Nationwide Complaint
- Frannie| 1 replyOmg...sick and tired of getting calls from the above number asking for Susan Lee. When are these people going to get it right. There's no Susan here. I implore the idiots to do their due diligence in obtaining the individual (s) of interest information. Tired of these idiots calling and leaving messages for Susan Lee. After the first time I told the idiot "He had the wrong # there's no Susan Lee here" the idiot would have noted the conversation and removed my # from the data bank. Apparently, NOT. Still getting messages for Susan Lee. When will they learn???
- Tamianth replies to FrannieDo consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so. And there are free apps available for some cell phones as well.

http://www.cashnetusa.com/consumer-notices - SherBTx| 1 replyThese calls do get old. We even thought of having our phone unlisted but decided not to be controlled by these idiots. Between AT&T and my phone system I can block 40 numbers but guess what, I am full now. What I decided to do was remove all the blocks and start over since some of the numbers may not be used anymore. There's one that has called every day for a week so they are on the AT&T block so I don't ever know when they call. Unfortunately, my phone system allows the phone to ring once and then disconnects the caller. I wish it also had a silencer on it. I have health issues and when I need to rest during the day, I get irritated with these crazy calls waking me up. Maybe I should do like we used to do in the past - take the phone off the hook when I don't want to be disturbed.

- Irritated| 1 replyI got a phone call from 509-414-6769 yesterday asking for my ex-husband's brothers' ex-girlfriend (figure that one out). I told them that there was no here by that name. My question is how would they get my mothers' phone number. This number has nothing to do with me for about 7 years.!! Very irritating and rude people.
- Caller: NCP
- Irritated replies to IrritatedThe only reason why I know that its NCP, it showed up on the caller ID otherwise, I could hear voice in the background like they were calling from a call center.

A really bad history. They tell you you are gong to be arrested for fraud and all that other garbage in an attempt to scare you into paying a civil debt.
Ignore their calls. Block them. Do not answer their calls. DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY, OR AGREE TO!- Caller: Informational post
- Lynn replies to SherBTxMany people don't realize that their cell phone has the option to have a ringtone called "silent"
This lets the caller hear all the rings and go to voice mail, but you never even know they called unless you look at missed calls or they leave a message.
