- Jengot a call from this number, they called my moms house and I have not lived there for 8 years. Left a message saying that I was involved in a criminal investigation regarding someone I have never heard of. I did call the number back from my work phone and they answered by saying "investigations" I said what kind of investigations? They said bad checks... I have no problems with my bank!
- Caller: Investigations?
- melsbabysis| 1 replyJust got a call from them accusing me of fraud and did I have a lawyer. I hung up they called back. I told them to stop calling me and the woman said, "NO!" I told her I was going to block her number. She got mad and said they would "sign-off" on the account and I would go to jail.
- Caller: They didn't say.

- Caller: Office of Investigations
- annoymous and pissedI received a call from these [***] also, saying that I was going to be prosecuted if I didn't cooperate. Just grateful that I had enough sense to do my own investigating about them before I end up getting scammed. Beware
- Caller: Office of Investigations
- joann replies to melsbabysisI would like to thank everyone for putting my mind at ease. I just recently got a call from the same number. same scenario except they knew about a payday loan I had taken out. the phone call happened at my niece's house. I don't even have her number and she was not a reference on the loan. threatened me in the same way. called a lawyer who told me not to talk to them again. he said things are not done that way and that if he were a legitimate lawyer (never spoke to the actual lawyer, but his "associate" who had a very snooty voice.) he could be disbarred and he would know this.
- joann replies to anonymouslet me guess....you never actually spoke with mr. kuhlberg. he was in a meeting. same here. same threat too
- josephGot the same message pretty much as everyone else did, since he stated that they were a "private investigations" company, i asked for there license # to verify with the State. They do not have one, i even went to the local police department here since i work closely with the officers and we dialed from that phone so they would see we mean business. They kept hanging up on us and refused to speak, then stopped answering the phone.
I just filed a complaint with the State Attorneys Office about this fraud taking place.
So folks.....PLEASE don't give them any personal information......also, if they read back the last 4 of your social, do NOT confirm it with them, then they could scam you a thousand different ways.- Caller: 512-777-4478
