He left messaging saying he was Gerald/Jarrod Washington hard to make out name as he yelled throughout message telling me if I want to settle out of court to contact him. If I didn't want legal proceedings to start that I need to contact him before 5pm today. Obviously can not tell time as it was already 530 when he called.

- AugustThis moron called my office in an almost screaming tone saying I should respond before 5:00 or his client would take action to the fullest extent of the law... Why are people so dumb?
- wcw| 1 replyIn Washington. I have made my final attempt to deliver your certified legal documents to resolve this legal matter out of court and stop(?) court proceedings. I need to hear from you today before 5 PM. My number is 551-226-6984. If I do not hear from you today. My client will pursue this matter to the fullest extent of the law."
Caller left above msg on my answering machine. If this was a real attempt to delivery certified legal documents, it would have been send via registered mail, UPS, or FedEx with signature required; not through a phone message. - SteveCalled and left a threatening message, it's a scam hopefully no one falls for it. Can also find more info by searching the number 8443091270

- SMM| 1 replyLooking for someone else. Stated he was Investigator Sterling from Harris County regarding legal actions. Pretty sure this guy has used other names and other numbers.
- mary| 1 replyGot the same threatening phone call on my mom's answering machine. My mom is in a nursing home, has dementia and doesn't even know how to operate her answering machine. Sad that someone can call and threaten such a vulnerable adult. I believe that is illegal. Did anyone call the number back to ream them out?
- Caller: unable to make out his name

Harris County DA Devon Anderson is warning citizens about a scam being done by people claiming to be from her office.
According to Anderson, criminals claiming to be members of the DA's check fraud division are randomly calling people, telling them they have a bounced check and need to pay the fine with a credit card or risk being arrested.
"Criminals will use any method necessary to steal your credit card information, including impersonating law enforcement personnel," said Anderson in a press release. "Our office will not call you and ask for your credit card information. Never give out your credit card or personal information to anyone who calls asking for it. If you think you are a victim of this scam, please come forward so we can help you and catch the criminals responsible."
According to the DA's office, if someone has a check delinquency, they'll get a letter instructing them to make a payment by cashier's check or money order to the Harris County Restitution Program.
If you think you are a victim of this scam, please call the Harris County District Attorney's Office at 713-755-5800. - Tamianth replies to maryFor Extortion Scam Operations, File reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,CFB,FTC & FCC..

- Wayne Murphy replies to NarieThen How did you put a stop to it, because I got the same call saying the same thing from two different callers. One of hem actually scammed me out of $100.
- cali girlThis number shows up as unavailable or restricted and they leave a number that they never answer and has a generic voicemail. They started calling my mom and dad and now they are calling my sister and brother in law and this guy told them that I gave their number which isn't true because I don't have their numbers. This is getting old I don't care if they call me but my family? That's ridiculous.
- Call type: Debt collector
- MarkReceived voice mail about Jim Nelson needing to contact me about legal matters associated with name and social #. Figured it was a scam further more had fathers name and not mine. Said he was calling on behalf of Mills and Moore assoc. 551-226-6984 ext 316
- WolfchildReceived threatening message from Mills, Moyers and Associates Law Firm stating a case of complaints for check fraud filed against me and if I did not respond they would send a process server to my employer. I work in a law firm and this is not how a case is conducted.
- Caller: Mills Moyers & Associates
- jo&liSame as above. Sounds like same voice from other calls I've received. I've added them to call rejection on my phone. Guess I will have to change my # to get rid of them.

Phone Number Owner: "Anthony" or "Mike" they stated(obviously fake names)
Phone Number Report: Said i was to be served for a pay day loan that was paid off over 5 yrs ago. Took this "mike guy" 5 mins to find their business address and wouldnt give me a mailing addy. They disconnected the first number 20 mins after i called back and told them i wanted more of their business information for my lawyer. (1-855-887-9350) . They then called me back from a restricted number asking me what my concerns were, and assured me they were drafting an email i would receive soon for the $$ they got me for. (Have fun splitting it between all of your fellow scumbags! You obviously need it more than i do,ill chuck it up as my charity donation to the needy this year ;) )Anthony answered the 551-227-3810 number again later but refused to give business info because "i could be a terrorist" Got life lock today and passed on all the info to our lawyer, life lock has had known instances with new cusomters in reguards to this same scam/mills mohr/anthony. Time to lock these bottom feeders up! When they are caught, I will make sure I am there to see their faces. Can only play the game so long before you get bit in the a**!! Lifelock showed me my info was recently grabbed from credit headers, commonly used for identity theft, etc and the info alerted on lifelock was the exact info they used with me on the call. Freeze your credit reports and fraud alert all 3 major credit bureaus asap, it means more low lifes like these guys can use headers and black market websites to get you information- Caller: Mills moore associats/anthony/mike
