- Joe Wilson| 3 repliesI also got a call about fraud and for me or my attorney of record to call this number. I call back and a voice answers "Preacher, how can I help you?" It doesn't sound like a legitimate business at all and they don't use your name in the voice mail. I received a similar call a few weeks ago from a Houston number. This is a Columbus, Ohio area code. It sounds like a scam call and you should ignore it.
- tcI received this call at 1016am this morning. I called them back they wanted me to give them my information and a case number. I told them I would not give them my information unless they identified who they were. They hung up.
- MomI just received a call from this # claiming they have a claim against me and if I don't reply I waive my rights. WTH.. they never stated who they were calling. must be total BS.
- RobI got the waive my rights thing too. Probably a scam

- Caller: Anderson Baker Law Firm
- IHopeItWorksI got a l from them and I actually listened to the point where I could press 1 to talk to my case Arbitrator, whatever that is, and after speaking with a human, they asked if this was "not my name" and I ask for advice on how to get my number removed because I am not that person. She said she would remove the number. I hope it is that easy, because I have been getting calls and voicemails for the person over the past 4 years at least, ever since I got my phone number assigned.

- whitneylynne replies to Joe Wilson| 2 repliesI too just received a phone call from them... they said they were going to fax over information to my county to have criminal charges filed against me for not paying a loan. First of all, that is a civil matter, not criminal.. When I asked her where she was going to fax my information, she said to the County Hall... Sorry, but there isn't a county hall! There is a city hall! Dummies!!! I told her I had seen enough tv to know that criminal charges go through the district attorney, not "county hall"... She got all flustered and said well I can see we aren't getting anywhere with this then she hung up on me!!! Does anyone know what should be done about this? Where can they be turned in?
- whitneylynne| 1 replyThis number has called me and threatened me with being arrested for not paying a loan that I didn't take out. It is a fraud and I want to report them. What do I need to do?

http://www.cashnetusa.com/consumer-notices - done replies to whitneylynneReceived the same voicemail today. I have been getting similar phone calls from people like these for months. Unfortunately I fell for one because it scared me. But then I realized that they are just 2 many and really I should get something in the mail or by a server. Do sick of these stupid people. I don't answer the calls from unrecognized #s anymore. Stupid scammers.
- Jennifer| 1 replyI keep getting this num calling me an said tht I have a claim against me I'm tired them callin an threatening me
- CWG40 replies to whitneylynne* File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
* File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in
The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency).
They continue to bother you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.
