- Cherika| 3 repliesThis number calls my home and cell several times a day. They are saying that I have a complaint against me concerning a payday loan that I supposedly took out on 6/25/2012 in GA. I did not live in GA during that time. When I asked for more info the only thing they would say is that it is a $500 loan and they needed my credit card to take care of the matter. They also said legal action can be taken out against me if I did not make a payment.
- Jorge| 1 replyExactly the same as Cherika previously said. Going to report them to the Better Business Bureau and State's Attorney's office in Tennessee.

- Priscilla| 2 repliesI got the exact same call. I talked to some guy he told me I took out a pay day loan from twin bluffs and I told him I never took out any kind of pay day loan. He then told me I took it out in August of 2013. I asked him to send me some type paperwork so I can take a look at it. he told me that if I paid the $500 he would send me a receipt along with my papers. I told him that I wouldnt pay anything that I truly don't remember or believe I even took out and if this was a legitimate loan I would be willing to re pay it. But he still refused to send me any kind of bill or other proof that I actually have this "debt".

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers. - Amanda| 2 repliesThis is a scam. They have called me numerous times and will not provide any documentation to prove about the loan I supposedly had taken out back in 2011. They have been calling me for over a month telling me I am going to be served... yet to happen... They have called from other numbers as well, 239-935-8883, 954-919-1945, 202-697-4473 as Capital Services and as DRS Solutions. I wish there was a way to stop these calls!!! But apparently there is nothing I can do since they are calling from different numbers!!
- Caller: DRS Solutions and Capital Services
- Call type: Debt collector
- Leslie ReedThe caller is automated and is calling for a past employee. The past employee has not worked at the office for over 4 years. There is no opportunity to speak to a live person. I called the number and left a voice mail message and I still get calls.
- DebI received the same message as above, but never got the name of the company calling. To top it off, last week I received the EXACT same message from the same person (identical voice-no name or company given). The number for that call was 313-377-8646
- Sue| 2 repliesI had several calls from this company Goldman and Associates threatening to come to my home or place of business. When i called the number back, they had all my personal information but when i asked them for their address or phone number they hung up on me. I called the Attorney General to file a claim and the Board of Bar Overseers. Hopefully they can be stopped sooner rather than later
- RiksgoddessI just got a phone call from number 6154673648. A recorded message saying that I have been served with a legal complaint. There really needs to be a way our personal information is protected, and scam artists get prosecuted.

- nsI have received several calls from this number 615-467-3648 at my workplace and my cell. Always a recorded message stating that I am going to be served within 48 hours at my place of business or home. I have not returned any of the calls. I have them blocked on my cell now, but cannot block them from work phone. This is the 4th such number to call with the exact same message.
- CWG40This could be the Goldman And Associates and associates scam. No address of course. They have used GMA as CID. They have also used O'Connell Greenman & Associates. I noticed on one of their calls they used Sterling and Associates, http://sterlingandassociates.org/ Anyway, that group (whatever it is) has a long history of debt scamming; threatening criminal action for what amount to civil debt. Accusations of fraud. Threats of arrest. First they say they area law firm and then they say they are "mediators" a totally meaningless term. They will say they have warrants against you. Totally illegal, but they do it all the time. No IDEA where they are located. I'm thinking New York. Ignore their calls. Do not call them back. Report them. They call from a variety of numbers.
