If you receiving debt collection calls on your Android based phones, download the Mr Number app from the Google Play store. You can block their calls or any phone number.
These are phone numbers being used by Delta Outsource Group which is a Debt Collection Agency. They are hired on behalf of creditors to collect a debt. If they called your number, they should have also sent you a collection letter to your last known address. If you believe you do not owe a debt, answer the phone. They may have the wrong number. Just tell them Wrong Number. If you owe the debt, you can have them send a letter to your current or newest address. You can VERBALLY CEASE them from calling you again. Make sure you write down the time, date, collection agent's name, collection agency name. When you receive your letter, you have a right to either say you dispute the charges listed or tell them to CEASE CALLING AND CEASE SENDING CORRESPONDENCE. If they fail to do so, you have the right to file a small claims court claim against them. You are entitled to a judgment award to be determined by the judge. This happens all the time. Most people don't want to file a SIMPLE and EASY small claims suit. They never show up to court. Bring your documentation. Make copies of your letter and the sheet where you wrote times, dates, names of everything that happened. Even cell phone records of incoming/outgoing calls. Judges don't like collection agencies because collection agencies always break the law called FDCPA FAIR DEBT COLLECTIONS PRACTICES ACT. Especially if your name has no association with the debt listed (and address/phone has absolutely no verified association with debtor).

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
