- liss| 1 replyThis is clearly a scam. They said they are in need of information on me and my lawyer because there are cases against me. I told her I'm reporting this number to the police and she said go ahead and that I will be arrested. I don't have any case against me for one thing. This is a scam. She answered the phone by saying hello and she is clearly mexican.
- Caller: She didnt

- Caller: null
- skcI got this call, same amo but not the same number. This will be my 3rd call states that they have a claim against me. 8552135764 is the other number. This is a scam... Don't call them back.
- Callin' their BS| 1 replyTwo signs this is a scam: one, a real attorney's office will often say (when you call), "The Office of So-and-So, Attorney at Law [or some such]; how may I help you?" Not a flat, "This is a legal office" with no identification of who they are and who they work for. And two, when you [***] them out, a TRUE customer service rep will try to calm you down and deal with you as best they can (and pass you off to a supervisor if they can't), not say, "Shut up!" and hang up on you. (I've been in retail long enough to know that telling someone to shut up will get your @$$ disciplined, if not fired.)
I called back and b*****d them out. (I don't remember where in my diatribe I told them I knew they were scammers, but I know I mentioned it.) Said, "Where the h**l do you get off saying I have a lawsuit against me? I'm friends with an attorney and a magistrate and my mother's dating another attorney!" (All three are true, of course...I'm still in touch with my bankruptcy attorney, one of my former professors is a magistrate with the county and my mother is dating another attorney.) "You're not going to scare me with arrest like you scared the people on the internet!" (I didn't get to finish this next bit, but I'll type it out anyway. "And you know how I know I'm not going to be arrested? I've been interviewed for a state job!" But she told me to shut up and hung up on me.
That b***h is clearly the same one Liss talked to, because she had an accent. (It was a male that left a voicemail on my cell, though.) If they want to dance, let's dance! I'm ready. :>- Caller: Dunno

- Tamianth replies to Mindy Bastyr| 1 reply800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either. And we certainly can't arrest them. See my post above to report them
Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so. - MINDY replies to TamianthI UNDERSTAND....THANKS!

- jennI received a call today they left a voice mail telling me to have my self or my attorney contact them!! So I called the number back (714-422-0196) they answered as a law office of so and so ( said they represent cash net )and that there is an arrest warrant out on me and I will be arrested in the next 25mins to an hour and that I have 3 third degree felonies! Every time I ask a question they hung up on me! So I called a family friend whom is a sheriff and told him what was said so I gave him the number to call they hung up on him too. So I filed a complaint with law enforcement!
