I receive calls from 800-719-9924 daily on my home phone at 3:00 PM CST. Computer recording inserts a "name" and states "if you are NOT that "name to hang up."  If you do not hang up the recording states "they assumes you are the person they have named." I always hang up. The caller ID diisplays "UNAVAILABLE". These calls have been continuous for about 1/12 years and are very annoying.  These robo calls should be illegal as they are an invasion of privacy.  What agency needs to be contacted to get someone to take action on this ?

We have gotten several calls from FINANCIAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS  lately. The robo call states they are trying to reach  ********Bell regarding a debt collection. These calls give different names of person calling such as Ms Lovely,Leah Kuhunoi, ect with the number 800-719-9924 ext 6181. My husband has called back and told them the person they are calling for does not and has not had our number and our last name is not Bell. They are still calling. Next step is reporting to authorities. This is beyond annoying.

We have received calls for two months now stating that my husband needed to call back at 800-719-9924 ext 6126 regarding a tax matter. Our accountant believes this to be a fraudulent company. Our taxes are up to date and when I asked the girl if it was state or federal she couldn't discuss it with me because I wasn't on the "account". So I asked since when did the irs start making phone calls after 5pm on a Friday? She stammered and put me on hold. I just hung up.

1-800-719-9924 called today from Financial  Asset Management Systems. A live person asked if I was so and so, then to proceed with the last 4 of my SSN. I just hung up. I am pretty sure its fraud.  DO NOT give out your personal information.

Caller ID came up on my phone, which I can't answer cuz I only have it for the internet, anyway, it said Robin Sanders with this number. Did a google on her name. There's a lot of Robin Sanders in google. Since I can't answer I have no clue who she is or what she wanted. I learned more from all of you!

I just got my FIRST call from that number. Now, from reading the posts here, I see they call themselves Financial Asset Management Systems.  I missed the call and called them back.  Some woman said they were a collections agency.  I wasted my precious morning hours calling various businesses about any possible late bills  None.  Nada.  I'd like to sue them, like the ad says on this page, but I'm not paying a lawyer for something that's fraudulent and won't affect my credit score, which is excellent!!  I've gone online in the past and listed my information to the DO NOT CALL registry within the last 2 years, but I guess some robotic thing dials our numbers anyway.  Again, what a waste of my time today!  I'll never answer that number again!

Several years ago, I received a note from the state of Georgia stating I had made a mistake on a tax filing, and owed an additional $XX.XX, which I paid immediately. Fast forward almost two years, and I start receiving calls from this number about collecting on back taxes for the state of Georgia. I checked back with the state IRS, and according to Georgia, I'm in good standing. When I blocked their number, they started calling my estranged parents. These people are scammers, and there seems to be no way to stop their harassment.

I then called the original debt owner and they advised me I did owe this debt and that I had been turned over to a collection company.   I asked them to verify the name and number of the collection company and it was the same group, who called. BigA replies to why call me
If the Georgia Dept. of Revenue thought that you owed them money, they would have sent you a letter, probably several, and at least one of them would have been certified that you would have had to sign for.  So, now that they have talked to you, they must now do this:

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

    You should do this:

You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/
    http://www.consumeradvocates.org/find-an-atto ... tates_value=All

Everything else you need to know follows including at least two agencies where you should report their criminal activities.
