They call at least twice a day. Asked them to stop several times. I even think they started calling more aggressively after we asked them to stop. They call themselves The Share Group and do political fundraising.  If someone finds a way to stop them, please let me know here.

I receive calls from "The Share Group" once or twice a week, on different 800 numbers.  Caller ID always shows "Toll Free Call".  I call the number back from a public phone and get a brief message about The Share Group.

Can't see how we ever survived before Caller ID.

Yet another unwanted phone call

I just got a call from that number.  They guy asked to speak to my husband.  When I asked what it is in reference to, he said quickly that he will call back and hung up.

Called and didn't leave a message.  Yesterday got a call from a different number, but the same group.

Said they were fundraising for Hillel and wanted a pledge along with Credit Card number then got very demanding about donation.

Number was listed on my call log as a missed call.  I googled it and here I am.  I will never pick up on this number.  Thanks for the heads up on this group.

FTC rules require even non-profit groups to maintain in-house do-not-call lists.

They call several times a week.  I refuse to answer.  Comes up Unavailable but bhave learned it is The Share Group, political groupo.

Yesterday received our first call from 800-956-0076. Asked for me and when I was not available they hung up.

Same thing, Share Group called me today. They asked for me, then said nothing. I was saying "Hello? Hello! Are you going to speak?" over and over. I heard voices in the background so they hadn't hung up, for some reason they think it's fun to sit there and not say a thing. Who can I report harassment to?

I too I've been harassed by numerous phone calls from the Share Group.  In the last 2 weeks they have called our house every second day, waking me up a couple of time.
I just called their office in Sommerville Mass. to ask on whose behalf they where calling me.  I did get the info and I will now call these non-profit and let them know they have falienated me with these agressive calls.

Do you have a like that states that Non-profits have to maintain a do not call list as I was told differently?

I am also receiving calls from the Share Group at the 800 number listed above to my cell phone.  My cell phone is listed on the national do not call list in addition to my home phone number.  Can someone please let me know how we can all make official complaints about The Share Group to the appropriate authority?

I got 4 calls from 1-800-956-0076 yesterday.  I answered on two of the calls and no one responded to my "hello" even though someone was obviously still on the other end of the receiver.  This is so annoying.

I got 4 calls within the last hour from them. Did not answer, how can they be stopped?

I have been getting calls from this number for the past several weeks.  Before today, whenever I picked up the phone they immediately hung up without saying anything.  Today, they seemed startled that I answered, asked for me, and when I acknowledged I was on the other end of the phone they hung up.  How are they planning to raise money if they immediately hang up?  Not that I would give them any...nor will I answer their calls again.  Extremely annoying.

I, too, just received a call from this group. She couldn't pronounce my name, so I told her this was the wrong number. Thanks to all for noting your calls here. I'll be sure to ask for removal from their list
