Caller stated the was a debt collector and I owed them money

Stated they will send check fraud to my county if I did not pay $300 today. I did stop payment on a check in 2009. Because of over payment.

Caller said they were calling on behalf of Parker mediation group.  They had my name as an alternate contact number" for a person "Elias Ramirez"; when I called this 844 number I was hung up on 2 times by a person who sounded very much like the original caller who said she was a process server working for a locator service in Crook County.

Called on 6/30/2014 by a man identifying himself as James Taylor. Said he was a process server for the county of Wake and I was in violation of 310 article 2 paragraph B.

This company is caling family members of my ex husband and leaving all types of messages. what can i tell the former family members to do.

They called saying someone was bringing a legal complaint against my daughter. They had a case number, the wrong DOB and SSN.

i got a call from this number and they said that there was a formal complaint filed against me. did not specify what the complaint was but had a case number.

This collector called my mother regarding several legal matters. I have asked for documentation showing validity of the debt, none is ever provided, they want to email me. I tell them if they know south about me, surely they know my address and can use a government agency(usps)to contact me.

Someone named Steve Miller called my job and said he was representing Walker County. He was from the Parker Mediation Group. Then I googled it and it showed this review page and i believe its a scam. I will not go forth with returning these peoples call. the number that called me was 844-550-1770. i also went to the website and it said the website was down on godaddy.com

I got this same call, from 844-550-1170 actually my former step mother and her current husband are getting these calls from this company and 1 I dont even know their phone numbers 2 even if I did I wouldnt give them out to anyone as thats just not cool to do.  I believe this is a total scam from a company trying to find any of your old debts somehow and trying to get you to give them money you owe on that debt, yet they cant give you any information about it, or the company that says you have the debt. I would leave this alone and not repeat not give them any money.

My parents keep getting calls from this number saying they have a pending case and charges to be filed in my county against me. the number they give is 844-550-1770 I haven't returned any calls from them so they have yet to speak with me. What can I do to protect myself. I am not sure how they got my parents number either.

Behavior you report is called shaming, violation of FDCPA.  To be reported to FCC, and Attorney General.

If there was a legal charge, a process server will come to your door.  The only way to protect yourself is not call back.

Just called back and spoke to a Montye Harris at 855-420-8311. She said she was with Parker Mediation Group and used this website in reference: http://parkerrosslaw.net/  She was very coy with me when I asked if it was about Paternity she said no It was a mediation office. Then when I told her I wasn't comfortable with her trying to get info from me she told me she was attempting to collect a debt for Check and Go. I've only ever used them to cash my checks. I told her to be very ashamed of using my love for my children as a means to get money from me. I said you used coercion and work for a horrid company and I will be filling a report. I should also not that at no time did she know who this original called Crystal Harrison was. Come to think of it she said she had just spoken to my sister how are you Crystal or Montye?

Omg....just as T stated above....I returned the call...which the crystal person left message and I got montye or something. This is just horrible. ...its enough stress in world without awful people trying to scam others. They also use this number 855-360-3394
