- Sam| 2 repliesThis number calls about 3-5times a day on the weekends. I called back and it was a lady with a Pakistani accent saying it was regarding a loan and if I have applied... Umm no. So I hung up.
- Caller: Loan company
- Call type: Survey
- Michael CorbettThere is no reasoning with these people....
I don't owe any money and they will not quit calling for whatever reason...
i have no idea why they keep calling me....
i don't know what they want from me. - jay| 4 repliesRip off talkin bout you got A 3000$ unsecured loan. But you have to make a payment to get it. Not once did they say the company name or who you would be payin back.
- Caller: they say us loan company
- Call type: Survey
- lexCalled me 12 times today within 3 hours! Left 3 messages saying I took out a $3000 loan (which I did not). I eventually ended up turning off my phone because it was during work hours and their calls would not stop.
- Elissa GausHas called 3 times in the last 45 mins, no voicemail or text.
- Antonio| 1 replythey have being calling me through that whole day.. saying that i was approved for a loan of the total amount of $3,000 and that i have to pay it back between 24 months. with a monthly payment of $161.00 she her name (sherry) i asked her for her last name and worker/ staff ID number and she refused to give it to me.. she wanted me to go to the nearest Walmart and buy a money order for the amount of $210.00..,, she said to call them once i was there. so i did call them back saying that i was there. so she transferred me over to other guy name (Jorge) he told to me to get a blue color form and he was going to guide me on how to filled it up.. . well i hangup on them and she called me back . so i told her that i was going to pay with a debit card. she told me no.. that she wanted a money order. ,..she kept calling me so i did not answer her calls. ( while i was talking i could heard voices of people talking in a different language it did sounds like, people from the (Midwest!!!).
- Caller: moneyloan.com
- DjeisonI got called saying I was approved also for $3000 loan and they were saying something about grand money/grant money so I am unsure of this. I also told them about a website and they said moneyloan.com but really wasn't it and I gave them my last 4 digit of my SSN and I am not worried about this but really trying to because I am not sure who it was but I got to be aware of something like this. Exactly what they said to Antonio, they told me that too. I wasn't able to trust this guy to actually go to the nearest rite aid and pay $235 for the first time to start loaning and otherwise I don't seem to know that they want me to use my ID to get the loan I mean if it was just that I may do it and if I would get the loan at first I would do it before I pay for my loan. Usually they give out loan before they make you pay, I am not really a guy to make loans but glad it wasn't my first time which I would probably get scammed. I don't trust this number and so can you, just don't give out your real information to this number 8503915331 just hang up and save the number to your block calls list if they call again or else.
- Caller: Money Loan / US loan
- Djeison replies to AntonioDon't even bother call them back or receive any call from them, either hang up every time they call you or put them in a block call list. Easy as that, they want to scam and you wouldn't know that and plus they didn't give out the real info for their company. Just can't trust them and also goes to everyone.
- jcarrascoBeen getting a call from this number as well...when I called it back he asked me if I needed a loan....he sounded Indian...must be some kind of scam. Then I got a call from an unavailable number as well telling me I was chosen to receive a grant of $9,200...and I don't have to pay it back...and that its government from the US Federal Reserve in Washington DC...she proceeded to give me an ID number and a number to call to get the money...that number is 209-266-1309
- BrianYeah I went threw all the calls and not thinking I got money card and put money on it 110 then got a phone call from them saying they needed more for the fee but I didn't do that now im out 110 dollars my dauther has to go to Pittsburgh hospital cause she has a medical problem any idea what I could do
- Caller: money loan us loan
- Cameronhow's a call this morning at seven a.m saying that they were a loan site and everything else that I was approved for 2000 and that I'd have to pay back 210 a month for 12 months, what was even funnier is the number that they called me on the 850 was the same that they gave me to call back to call their banK. Not smart for scammers.
- Caller: loan company
- Sandy_WICalled twice about a loan that I applied for ... however, I never applied for a loan.
- msjuCalls all day am glad they came to the right place. trace number and reported (agent on the line hello) protect your self do not hold a conversation with them report and write the number down. online police and your local department is fine.
- Devon C. McEwenI got a call just now from a lady saying I had a loan and was probably phishing for bank details. I got irritated with the call quality so I hung up. I never signed for any other loans other than the Federal Stafford Loans. This is probably a scam.
- Caller: Scamming Loan Company
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ConnieHave gotten calls all day long from various telephone numbers coming in on caller ID as unknown. The last one said Tallahassee, FL, all with accents that sound like they are from India. They all had different reasons for calling and I should have hung up but wanted to have a bit of fun with them and frustrated them badly. I think they got my name, address, phone number, and email address from some things I filled out online last night where on facebook they were advertising giving away free samples of various products and said that some of my friends had "liked" their website. They had asked finally for my credit card number so I just x'd out of the website cause I don't give info like that to anybody. Would like to report them but don't know who to contact about this. Can't get away from their calls as they use a different number so blocking doesn't help.
- Caller: Various
- JuliaLoan company????Yeah right. They asked if I wanted to accept my loan, that I didn't apply for.....
Bug Bye....- Caller: USLoan
- Call type: Telemarketer
- RandiI got a call about a loan that they said I applied for, they had my name and address only I never applied for a loan.
When I confronted them they kept hanging up on me.
SCAM SCAM SCAM- Caller: Money loan co.
- AutumnI gave them a piece of my mind.
I called back 10 + times asking who they were. Every time I was hung up on. Finally they called me. I knew it was a scam but I played along. He said I was approved for loan. This is what I said, " oh I'm approved for a loan? Well that is wonderful but I have called this number multiple times within the hour only to be hung up on. I'm not sending you a money order So don't feed me your scamming [***] because I'm not falling for it. Stop calling me and go get a real job and stop taking hard working people's money...goodbye" - diane brodfuehrer| 2 repliesThree calls today - I never answered - unwanted calls

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.
