These people are ridiculous harassing my family illegally stating they have court papers against me and i will be contacted at my last known.residence or work and will be supenad a complaint has been filed with case number blah blah blah. Complete joke i know my credit report i know i have nothing in the court system and funny thing they call me by my maiden name. They never state who it is or but illegally talk about court. my mother is a collector and has advised me this is a scam to scare people into paying lots of money for old accounts or fake accounts. Lease people do not fall for this

Possibly a scam debt collector called Maury,  Glover and Sellers.   Can't find any record of them, but that's who they say they are.  Could be a front for some kind of Indian based debt scamming operation.

I received a call from these folks looking for my mom. She is a VERY easy person to find and I feel this is a scam. They've gotten money from her before and now they are wanting more.

These people called my sister today to tell them that I was going to be served papers if I do not contact them because I had written bad checks. When I contacted the number and spoke to the man John he wanted me to give him all of my information DOB, SS#, ADDRESS etc. (all of which I didnt) then when I cut him off to begin to ask questions about the bad check he couldnt give me any information. Not the bank name, check number or what it was I supposedly purchased. And to top it off Ive never even owned checks to be written Ive always choosen a debit card. This was foolish. I just used a few vulgar words and hung up on them. DO NOT FEED INTO THIS CRAZY SCAM! These people are trying to steal identities.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

My client received a call from 855-295-1705 requesting information from a guy name Alvin Regala who listed my client as referral and because my client asked them to remove his cellular from the system. Now they say they will file a subpoena to go to court. I asked them to remove my number and that I will contact the FCC. This guy #AlvinRegala needs to deal with this company.

My friend is sick on getting calls for this guy name Alvin G. Regala or Alvin Regala. He putted my good friend as reference and is getting harassed by this people. Beware this is a scam supposed my called from district attorneys office ordering my sister to court over some criminal complaint... All of which is false when I called back to find out what the deal was they told me they couldn't release any information under the hipaa act. HIPAA act is medical records not legal documents relating to criminal complaints

Beware  this is a scam. They pick up random names of people somewhere.. It could be any names. This is a scam. They're from Nigeria or some African countries.  Some of them have been arrested by the FBI.
