- Jen KCalled my son ( who crazy enough is a police officer) told him they issued a warrant for my arrest and would not give him any information. I returned phone call and asked the name of the company. He said I work for myself, his name was Robert. I told him my son was police officer and what he was doing is illegal, that he wasn't getting any money and that I was reporting to authorities. He asked if he could send me an email. I said no. Send it certified USPS. He hung up.
- CWG40Calls itself CCA, but the real name is EOS-CCA. History of debt scamming on 800notes. Ignore their calls, don't talk to them, block their calls.

- Michelle L| 5 repliesI rec an anonymous call from someone named Michelle Grant.....she said she has paperwork to either serve me at work or my home to appear in court....she says she will serve me if she doesn't get stop notice from complainant. ....the number she left to call back was 855-313-2232. Not sure what to do.
- Slim replies to Michelle LLegitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process. They will deliver the notification without warning.
Also, if you were threatened with an "arrest warrant" via a phone call or email, read this:
http://news.uscourts.gov/warning-arrest-warrant-scam
"The warrant is phony. A valid warrant would not be served by fax or e-mail. It would be served in person by a U.S. Marshal or other law enforcement officer."
"Anyone receiving a fake arrest warrant should contact the FBI or the district U.S. Marshals Office. If there is any question regarding the authenticity of a warrant, contact your district clerk of court." - Terry replies to Michelle LI just received the same call at about the same time! Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers. - toya replies to Ana| 1 replyThat Michelle Grant and Tim Brice called my house threatening me about money or coming on my job i tried to get more info he started getting and hung up in my face

- Hey Michelle, you're BUSTED| 1 replyYeah that Michelle Grant b*tch contacted me too. Called me more than once actually- First time she left a voice mail just “notifying me”, didn’t even listen to the entire message because I figured it was nothing. Then she left another saying that she had stopped by my home, and would now have no choice but to go to my place of employment?? FUNNY because A. I WAS HOME ALL MORNING, ACTUALLY SITTING ON MY FRONT PORCH WITH MY HUSBAND WHO IS ON VACATION ALL WEEK and B. I’ve been a stay-at-home Mom since the birth of my daughter almost 3 years ago! I would LOVE to speak right with this girl, she sounds like a real BIBMO, probably reading off a cue card haha. Can’t decide whether to call these people or just ignore it
- MJG replies to Hey Michelle, you're BUSTEDYou know she is a liar ( I was at your house). Why bother? Please read Slim & Tamianth's posts (above) for more information.
- angry individualUrtMy 80 year old mother who barely knows how to work a cell phone just learned how to listen to her vm called me saying there were msgs left FOR ME on her phone. Apparently she was getting calls from "a no number" last week but every time she answered the person hung up? The messages were from that michelle woman, didnt say who she was/workd for, just said some [***] about serving me a summons ? I called that number and they never heard of any michelle grant. They said they were an investment firm, but were asking me if i had a case number? Asked them how an investment firm has the authority to issue court summons? The kid was tripping over his own tounge, clearly didnt know what a summons was. JUST SOME STUPID SCAM
