- TRuth| 4 repliesThey are trying to collect on defaulted debt. Problem is they are doing it illegally. They are scam artist. DO NOT pay them. They are not going to have you arrested...but they should be for their actions.
If anyone runs across their address please post it. I will take pleasure in wining a FDCPA suit against them.- Caller: Unknown
- DAISYFLOWERS replies to TRuth| 3 repliesI TOO AM IN THE SAME SITUATION WITH THEM...AS I LAUGHED ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE, I WILL ENJOY FILING THE LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM AS WELL.

- cflowersI just got a call from this number 855-565-2305. They said that the will be pulling up to my place of employment or other addresses in a black escalade to serve me papers to appear in court. Who are these people? Anyone know?

- sherbearI too received a call about fradulant checks when it's not even me or my family they're contacting. How annoying!!
- Sheila| 1 replyReceived several calls at work. Was told she (Linda Miller) was contracted by the state and I was being taken to court for fraud. They would be at my work in a few hours with the local authorities. Would not answer what state or where they are from, but I could hear other people in the background using profanity. I called the state's Bank and Securities to file charges. What they are doing is illegal and I was advised not go give them any information. I have asked them not to call before but they call from a different number. Last time this lady called (about 2 months ago) she said her name was Lori Williams. I saved the tape and its the same lady. Do yourself a favor and just hang up. Nobody is gonna show up and nobody can threaten you with anything...it's illegal! She calls my work because I blocked her on my phone! Tell your boss to tell her not to call and if she does it's harrasment.

- 855-565-2305| 1 replyI just had someone call my place of employment and leave a message stating that if i dont call ACS by 2pm, they will be coming by to serve me. the number is 855-565-2305 ext 305 name Darel Thomas. I know they had just tried to call my cell by an unlisted number, because when i denied the call, it was a few minutes later that someone said i had a call. this is ridiculous. i even had a message left on my voicemail from some woman, talking about "ok miss SAMANTHA, i tried to be nice to you LADY. NOW you will be needing to call me back within 15 minutes or I WILL BE SERVING YOU WITH THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES. You can call and rant about me to whoever if you want to, my name is OLIVIA JONES, and DONT YOU FORGET IT. You WILL BE SEEING ME IN PERSON, and IF I DONT SEE YOU AT (home address) I WILL BE SEEING YOU AT (employers name/address). She was straight up threatening me and acting like she was gonna come after me or something. I had briefly talked to this woman at one point on a monday, and she tried telling me im being taken to court for a fraudulent check and i told her to call me at the end of the week on friday. when she called i missed it, as i was at work, and thats the message she left me! WTF? i havent written a check in 5 years, i dont even have any checks for my account.this is ridiculous.

- samantha replies to 855-565-2305oh and i am in kentucky by the way.
- Tony PYEP!!! I am in Texas and I got a call from from the same exact people (1-855-565-3760) stating I owe a balance but would not get to the point. I said "What's the name of your business again?" He talked even faster. I asked where they were located and he kept dodging the question. I specifically asked for thier address to "submit a payment" THUS he wouldn't give one and had the nerve to tell me they we can only take the full balance.. They wont tell you who they are realistically, wont give you an address, wont give you to the person they asked for. Claim to work for the government but call you "unknown".... Just fart on the phone and hang up as they are no more of working for the government as we are lambo drivers.
I laughed my butt off when they started talking about litigations ..over a small balance and attempting to scare me with "court cost, lawyer fees, court fees and other fees) leading to $3,000...HAHAHAHAHAHA i LAUGHED SO HARD I said so you mean to tell me you guys are willing to pay 80% more to take me to "court" rather than leave it alone? :-/... Anyways REGARDLESS who they are, they cannot take you to court, will not show at your house, will not serve you any papers nor can they physically garnish your wages and I mean this on a LEGAL statement. Loan companies are not covered regardless of all the paperwork and all that jazz. They cannot file a winning case as the courts will laugh them smooth out of the courtroom and not to mention if you were given NO OPPORTUNITY to allow you to pay(which I wasnt)... they cannot touch you so don't worry about them. Keep researching for an address as I am too and submit them a cease and desist not to call you nor your references and be sure to send it to them Certified so you can get a signature and be known they got it.- Caller: 1-855-565-3760

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.
