- Badge714 replies to tiredofdummiesSure bub. Bills we really owe. It appears you've never heard of caller ID spoofing. I can make my caller ID say anything I want, with just a few dollars in software. Why should I pay fake debt to foreign 3rd world criminals?
- gpkruse| 2 repliesThis # is a scam artist. Just called one of my clients threatening jail time, but claimed to be from "Legal Outsourcing". Don't hand over your info. Trust me, I'm a consumer protection attorney that deals with this all the time.

- shockedI almost cannot believe that a supposedly employee of LEGAL OUTSOURCING would get on the internet at various sites, including this one, and blast at people calling them losers and belittle you. Not professional at all. These folks are very bad people. They are the kind of people to say that they are right and your are wrong, yet, they can never produce any evidence to their claims. They talk over you on the phone, they will not let you get a word in edgewise, they almost do not want you to speak until spoken to. These guys are unbelievable. Next time they call, I will them to provide their state of registry and other legitimate info but I bet they won't. If they were legit, they shouldn't have a problem with providing details besides just a telephone number.
They are obviously connected with CMG somehow. Believe me, I have opened a case for investigation with the attorney general today.
These people, John, James, Blakeney and whoever else is there, ought to be ashamed of themselves.- Caller: LEGAL OUTSOURCING

Why are you observing him being on a site like this. You, being an employer (crook) of Legal Outsourcing) supposed to be professional but you are on a site like this ......so do not understand your reasoning for attacking gpkruse.- Caller: LEGAL OUTSOURCING

- sotired| 1 replyI am so tired of getting calls from these people. They called early and woke my husband up-which is not a good thing! Then after he exchanged some words, he had the nerve to call back. They claim that I committed check fraud, which I know I didn't. They keep changing their number and the name of their company, but it's the same people. They've never been able to produce any proof that I owe this money. I'm turning each and every number in to the Feds.

If you were foolish to call them back they would tell you that this alleged court case would somehow disappear... if you pay them money. Of course, they'd want you to pay via some nonrefundable and untraceable means like a Green Dot money card or some such. - Gloria| 2 repliesI got a call from a Jose Diaz (number came up unknown) saying he was a process server for the state of Texas saying he represents the division serving Allied Investigations and that they were retained to serve me with a court order to appear In county court on behalf of the company that retained him, Legal Outsourcing, and to call them at 855-739-5988 ext 303 and that I was being advised that I would be served at my residence and/or job within 48 hrs. When that number I was transferred over to a man named Christian Ambrose ext 306. He told me that I had fraud charges pending from a payday loan from My cash now from Jan 2010 and loan had gone through CitiBank. I had gone through alot that year with illness and deaths in the family so I can't remember if I actually did get a loan through them or not. The bank closed my acct since I had lost my job and had no money in my acct for a long time. He said I owed $1227.but would settle for $605.28. I don't know that to do or what legal agency to call to see if this is legit or not. Anyone have any ideas please? Thnx

- Special Place in Hell for these [***]Because legitimate lawyers (as caller claimed to be) don't leave any information. Call came up "Unknown." Caller said she was from a law office and looking for my husband regarding HIS checking account. Saying something about check fraud in Arizona. And that they needed to get a hold of him before filing charges. Only left a number and extension number. No name or company name. 1. Well the only checking account has both of our names on it. 2. The only checks written on our checking account have all cleared the bank. 3. We did close a checking account earlier this year because checks were stolen, so the bank already has that on file. 4. Neither of us have been to Arizona lately. I've never been there period and last time my husband was there was over 15 years ago while driving through. 5. I will be sending the voicemail over to my real lawyer for a cease and desist letter.

- Elspeth replies to GloriaREAL process servers do NOT call ahead of time - they just show up. They also don't tell you to call another number to take care of the situation. Always remember - the burden falls on the debt collector to MAIL proof that you owe this debt, and that they have the legal right to collect said debt. Refusal to mail this documentation within five days of their initial contact with you is a violation of federal law. This is a scam, nothing more, nothing less. Please do report these losers to the FTC - www.ftc.gov - and your state's Attorney General - www.naag.org - you can find your state AG here.
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0258-fake-debt-collectors
Consumers across the country report that they're getting telephone calls from people trying to collect on loans the consumers never received or on loans they did receive but for amounts they do not owe. Others are receiving calls from people seeking to recover on loans consumers received but where the creditors never authorized the callers to collect for them. So what's the story?
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:
is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.
If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.
Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.
Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft – charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.
Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate – but you think the collector may not be – contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.
Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law. - bub replies to tiredofdummiesyo shut the hell up fake [***] callers you work for
- Kim Brown replies to GloriaCall the bank, or call the IRS.. They can tell you or do credit check.. I should Be on your credit report
- Wayne replies to gpkrusecan't someone do something to stop them from taking people's money illegally? i get cells like this all the time, and wish they would stop!
- ANNOYEDI received a message, no company name was given, that i had something returned because of nosufficient funds which definitely hasn't happened. I check my account everyday. There was a number given to call back so i did and it said the number isn't setup to receive calls yet and hung up on me. So that definitely told me this was a SCAM! I did some more research with the help of this site and found some information for all to use to file a complaint against them. Hopefully something will be done to stop these scam calls if we all keep filing complaints.
