Idk who they are but i get an automated message saying its a financial institute. If it really were something important they would not let a machine call me just to tell me to call them back at the same number when I answered their call in the first place, These people must think that I am an idiot or something. LOL...Next time do your own talking instead of hiding behind some stupid recording.
    • Caller: the machine just said, " Financial Institution "

Just got the same call, it says it is a returned item from my financial institution. I haven't bounced a check in 12 years -- I highly doubt that. Not gonna call it back.

Received a voicemail from the number saying I had a returned item from my financial institution. Time sensitive matter and I needed to call back to avoid legal proceedings.

It is a collection agency. They were trying to collect a debt from a person I didn't know. They left a message and I called back. Told them I didn't know the person and hopefully they take me off their list.

I received the  same message from an older sounding woman  who I believe is just trying to have a way to be able to get into my bank account.because if she had a returned item from my financial institution they would b stuck trying to deal with my bank first rather than directly with me, or I would have heard something from my bank by now if it's to the point of being time sensitive already able to take action  of legal proceedings. sounding of that age that lady should be ashamed of herself & taught a good lesson trying to work somebody.

Got the same call...with another mysterious call a few days later regarding a claim number.  No reputable company/institution would handle a serious matter in this way.

Not returning or worrying about the call.

this company is a collection agency.... they will threaten you and try to make you say yes to paying a bill... DO NOT SAY YES THEY ARE RECORDING THE CONVERSATION... AND IF YOU SAY YES... IT MEANS YOU ARE RESPONSABILE FOR THIS BILL.

THEY ARE RUDE AND WILL CALL YOUR FAMILY.   MY LAWYER SAYS TO TELL THEM YOU WILL TAKE THEM TO COURT AND THEY WILL STOP CALLING.. FOR A WHILE.   THIS IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM........

Got a call from the same number a couple hours ago, saying they represent a loan company that is suing me for"bank fraud" and were very rude and unprofessional I looked up the company and found out there was no record of a so called "online loan" they said I was getting sued for!! Said I had a wrong address and that this "loan " was from 2011 a closed bank account! Reported to FTC. I knew it didnt sound right from the beginning!

Got the same message as everyone else here.  I called back from a company land line just to make sure what it was.  When I asked for the name of the company she (Elaine) said "if you have this number it's because we are looking for you".  I told her I was calling from a business and most likely mis-dialed and then hung up on her.

I have had other company\ies try this same scam so I knew it sounded suspicious.  Reporting them.

I got the same message saying I have a returned item from my financial institution.  I checked  with my bank and there is nothing.  They are full of it.  Also, my bank would have contacted me via mail as well as a phone call.  Not only that, they would have identified their company.

I have received 2 calls from this number, both are automated calls and they do not say who the call is for, or who or where it is from, only that they are trying to reach me regarding a returned item from my financial institution and I must call the number back to avoid legal proceedings.

I get these "legal action will be taken" calls all the time from dozens of different numbers for an Amy S. I found this Amy S.. in my town and asked her if she ever had or used my phone number. She claims she was a victim of identity theft years ago and those thieves must have used my number. The calls are never from a legitimate debt collector just these scammers with illegal threats. Sometimes i waste thier time leading them on.
