Company keeps call my Mother looking for this person who does not and has never lived in her home.

Has called twice in the last week.   Did not leave a message.

Left a message.  Debt collector (Windham Professionals) calling AGAIN for someone with my last name that I do not know.  I have told them to stop TWICE, but they seem to keep calling at other numbers.

Verbal requests do not work and legally they do not have to honor them.  Send them a certified, return receipt letter telling them to cease and desist calling you.  Here is what you need to know to do that as well as were to report them:

Remember that the CFPB now has jurisdiction over student loans, their collection, and collection practices.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
