- Tim| 6 repliesJoseph Murphy (thick New York-street accent) left a voicemail as if he was informing me of a pending charge linked to me concerning my brother, and he got my information from the signed documents of the order. I called back and he had a different story in that he is performing a legal investigation in which my contact information came up as a possible link to my brother. He also tracked my mother down who is in in-patient hospice with cancer. He said this would result in an embarassing arrest for my brother, and needs me to have my brother call them before they put the arrest orders in.
I asked for the company name and he said "Silverlake Recovery". I googled it and only a substance abuse recovery center showed up. I asked if it was that and he said he couldn't reveal any other information. At that point I got ticked and he noticed then acted like he was doing ME a favor by informing me and hung up on me.- Caller: Silverlake Recovery - Legal Processing

http://www.cashnetusa.com/consumer-notices - l b replies to Tamianth| 3 repliesThey called my husband when the payment declined and he called cussing me out. But it was Tim Miller so I called them back and made arrangements. If I don't make them they will pick me up and put me in jail. HELP.
- l b replies to TimNo collection agency.
- unknown| 3 replies"Silverlake Recovery" is their name. they will not give you and address because they have violated so many FTC laws. FTC has no record of that number so they will continue to hide with no address and changing numbers frequently to avoid fines and lawsuits. Dont give these idiots one minute of your time and pay no mind to any of their tactics. they will say they are law enforcement, they will tell you they will arrest you, they will do everything and anything to get money. If you are able to get an address contact the FTC.

- private replies to unknown| 1 reply844-888-7945 showed up as RESTRICTED on my phone. A woman stated it was about a legal matter for a distant family member of mine; and an ongoing investigation.
Told her I was DRIVING and couldn't take a message. Asked her to email or text me her info to relay "the urgent" message. Refused.
Called back ten minutes later and insisted I pull off the road to write down her info. She gave me a "case number" to relay, and said it was urgent my family member contact their Law Firm.
The message that plays when I called 844-888-7945 says "thank you for calling Silver Lake" -- that's it.
Just passing along the info. Family member's bill collectors need not call me. And too often these days, it's a bill collector or unrelenting spammers. - Tamianth replies to l bDebit or credit card
