I called them several times to help a friend out that got a call from them ! It involved them contacting my Dead son's life long friend. They said he made a debit after  Feb 23 2014 & they need to collect. She told them he died before the date when they said the debit was made. They were VERY VERY nasty & Rude to her saying WELL DIG HIM UP TO PROVE IT !  I called talked to a  Edward Nash after he returned my call where I left a detained message about the situation . OMG he was the worse man I have ever spoken to over the phone . He was Rude Unreasonable & Wouldn't let me get a word in. I am still in the grieving process   ( 6 months since the auto accident ) for my Only child age 44 . I started calling Consumer affair & Fair Trade Groups to Stop them from scamming people out of hard earned money  . I am a Officer in the Army Nurse  Corp. ( RN )  & I will see these people SHUT DOWN !

I called that number and got this threatening robo-response:   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzdufyU92sc

Typical debt scammer implying that they are part of law enforcement in some vague way.  Generalized threatening language.

The person stated his name is Brandon Perusi who is fraud examiner with the law firm Oscar Gamble regarding a fraud incident under someone by the same name as my father's social security and that they were trying to contact him to settle it before a judgement or criminal charges being filed.  My father doesn't steal, he's over 65 and I honestly beleive they are calling to intimidate people with their lies and are are phishing for someone to answer and give them personal information and scam elderly people.  My father has never had my phone # or used my phone number.  The only way my dad is associated with my phone is I accidentally used my email for his apple id (his name) so I wonder if the list of numbers was sold by Apple.  Or they can associate people kin to people through any online. I will be reporting them to the police and filing charges if necessary.

Found this on another website regarding the same company.  Everyone please be careful with these scammers and block their calls and report them immediately.

"said she was calling from Oscar Gamble law firm and that there is about to be an arrest warrant for theft of rental property and that I need to call them back immediately with my social security number and that if they do not hear from me that I will be arrested and a warrant would be issued if they did not hear from me that day. NOTE: I have never had anything do with rental property no do I own any property. Why would I call back and give my social security number. Can't find an Oscar Gamble anywhere except a ball player. Had the operator to search the number and filed a complaint with the BBB. No one can locate this office.

Called seven times in one day, saying they were Edward Nash of Law Offices of Oscar Gamble. returned call; they were looking for an estranged family member we have not seen in 11 years. Stated there was an "association" between long-lost family member and our home address and phone number. Truthfully told them we do not know whereabouts of family member, were told that we would "go to jail" if we did not reveal location of family member. Stated family member was wanted for "theft of property" and was facing jail time. Freely identified that this was regarding a debt to Aaron's rent-a-Center in another state. Stated again they were a lawyer/lawyer's office. Currently seeking information on location to file a suit under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Several violations on recorded phone call. Call your state Attorney General.

Oscar Gamble investigations & Law Offices of Oscar Gamble.  No BBB page, no Bizapedia page, they are not a California Corporation, they are not listed under the State private investigators page for California (I checked Oscar Gamble, Edward Nash, and Davis), and they are not listed in the California Bar Association

The company address was listed in the information previously posted about their web site, but it seems that at least one suite number at that building is a virtual office, so it may be possible that the entire building has been set up that way..

There is no Oscar Gamble law office.  No Edward Nash that I can find who is a member of the California Bar.  There is this:
    http://www.oscargambleinvestigations.com/

    Oscar + Gamble Investigations Co.
12011 San Vicente Blvd., Suite 540
    Los Angeles, CA 90049

To speak with us regarding a pending claim please call toll-free (888) 394-0265

They sometimes indicate they are a law firm, sometimes indicate they are a collections firm.   They mostly say they are a collection arm for Aaron's rent-a-center.

    Total scam operation.

Got a call from a friend saying this company left her a voicemail for me. The voicemail detailed private personal info. Called the company-- Brandon was the rep. He told me this was in regards to a rental from aarons in 2008. Only problem is I paid that in 2008. Anyways he proceeded to say my full name, birthday and SSN without verifying my identity first. I could have been anyone. When I asked how I could dispute this he said I could not dispute. Said I had 2 options. Make a payment within the hour or go to state prison. That is not how it works. He wouldn't send me information on the debt. When I asked why did it take 6 years He told me that aarons had tried to contact my references (fyi the 2 references he listed were 2 people I have never used as references. They were family members that I don't talk to). When I said this was first time hearing about this he said "too bad. Either pay or go to prison".. told him I would call him back after speaking to my husband. He leaves me a voicemail an hour later saying and I'm quoting "I am informing you we are filing paperwork with district attorney today. I have your current address as ------ If the cops do not show up at your house they will show up to your job assuming you have one since you are a deadbeat who doesn't pay their obligations and attempts to lie to people. You will be going to jail in a few days"... false. I pay all my bills. I am far from a deadbeat. I just wanted to see proof of this claim so I knew it was legit. He refused. Complete scam. I am in process of filing a lawsuit with a lawyer tomorrow. I have already informed several other organizations about this scam. Their website is very unprofessional for a supposed law firm. All around joke.  Don't fall for their scare tactics. Statue of limitations on debt is 4 years from last payment. They can only have you arrested for hot checks etc. This is coming from a real lawyer. As in those articles of people being arrested-- they are suing and with good cause.
