He wanted me to get in front of my computer and I told him I wasn't in front of my computer in which he stated that I told him I was. - JeffMale with thick foreign accent claimed to be with my computer "Internet" support department and asked that I be in front of my computer so he could help me with an issue. I said it's highly unlikely that he was with any support department of mine and that it sounded like a scam, he got angry and said he was and that I needed to be in front of my computer now! So I asked ok, then what ISP do I have? he said excuse me, I said again what is my ISP? he said he saw no reference to an ISP, I said well if you are truly with my service department then you would know my ISP, to which he got belligerent and told me to shut up and get in front of my computer, to which I told him where to stick it and hung up.

- MidNYteStorm replies to KellyThere are multiple threads on this site that mention these tech support telemaggoters becoming irate and using vulgar language if they do not get the response they want. It is best to ignore unfamiliar callers. You might also want to consider the option of a call blocking device or app.
- laverneGot a call on the machine, just said hello. Tried callback, phone company couldn't put it through. Thank heavens they coundnt check caller ID. Just got done with another scammer calling 5-6 times a day. Getting tired of this BS. Phone company set up star 57. It works.

- Tamianth replies to samHey Sam, since when do criminals ever obey laws? Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan. We have no jurisdiction there in those country's. Do you think foreign country's are going to obey our calling laws?
