- 2Just delete it and ignore any following texts. This is not a valid phone number (area code starts with a 1) so the number was spoofed.
- 1Caller pretended to be from the SS dept. Acted like an investigater basically accusing my wife of dealing drugs.
- 1Called and tried to tell me my card had bogus charges on it .when i asked which bank the card was through they hung up . They wanted the first 4 numbers off my card but i would not give them that info until they told me what bank the visa was through Caller Type: Credit Card Scam
- 2Just FYI, no phone number area code or prefix in North America begins with a 1 or a 0 so any time you see such a number you can rest assured it's not a valid North American phone number and thus a scam. Block and ignore such calls if you can or at least don't answer them.
