- 1I blocked the number. Area code 105 is not a legitimate code in North America. So I knew right away that the call was a scam. Interestingly, when I didn't answer, they called back immediately and set it up to display no caller ID information.
- 2Using the internet to learn you would have found that no area code or prefix can start with a 0 or a 1 in the North American Numbering Plan. It might be a country code or an area code in another country but not in the US or Canada.
- 1You know it is a scam when the phone number in the caller ID field is not even a valid phone number....
- 18/16/19 11:28 PDT No clue what this was about. Showed in one place as 105 and 2 others as 05. In any case, didn't answer and no msg left. Erased.
- 1I have been going numerous calls from places that I have no reason for getting them. Today I got a call from area code 105, which Ppears to be fictitious.
