Since this is not a valid phone number (thus is cannot be called to nor called from), it is probably an access code used by C Spire to operate your phone's SMS services.  If you have any questions or concerns, you should take them up with customer service at C Spire.

Yes, we know it is not in the North American Numbering Plan. It could just be your email/messaging or some other app checking for updates. When you accepted the terms of service for some app, I am sure that one of the warnings was that it can send text messages and/or calls of it's own accord without any input from you.

It's got to be an app or similar to keep you anonymous because there's TX on my husband's usage log and there's lots of txing back and forth.
