this shows up as a text charge on my verizon bill. don't know who it is

i was browsing my sons phone history and found several 100 texts to and from this number as well as 1206.  no idea who this is.

I've gone through my bills and found these numbers coming from and to my kids cell phones. They're instant messages back and forth. Since I know they're using them I've given them a larger messaging package. You can delete the messenger service off the phone itself, then block any application downloads to the phone from the account online. They won't be able to redownload messenger and no more charges.

call verizon and dispute it. i got the runaround from verizon about these charges. i did not make these text messages nor did i ever receive them. somehow verizon feels fine about supplying phone service to these scam artists who rack up charges on your cell phone by sending you text that you have to pay for. what if a telemarketer called you collect on your phone? this is exactly what happens when one of these numbers send you text data. you end up paying for it! the good news is that you can program your phone to never receive texts from these bozos. call verizon and demand that they not charge you for these calls and then ask them to show you how to ensure that these calls will never happen again
