I got a robocall  prerecorded message from this obviously spoofed number (starts with 00) to my landline telling me that my I-cloud account has been compromised.  I pressed "1" to speak to someone.  I told a man with a foreign accent about the message I just heard.  He knew my phone number and name which he probably got from caller ID.  He claimed my account showed suspicious activity in New York and Houston (he pronounced it WHO ston).  He then asked for my account number.  If he knew I had suspicious activity on my account, how did he not also know that account number?  I stated that I don't have an I-cloud account.  He claimed I could have fake charges against my name that I would have to pay or be arrested.  I pointed out that as I don't have an account and I have given out no credit card information, there is no way to bill my account.  He then said he was going to send me a code to disable my I-cloud account.  I asked how he was going to send it.  He said it would be a text.  I informed I was on a landline.  He then asked what my cell number was.  I responded that if he already knew he had a bad phone number because I don't have an account, why would I give him a second phone number?  At this point he disconnected.
I suspect the code he wanted to text me contained some sort of virus or other problem.  No legitimate call that learns there is no valid account would threaten arrest or pursue more information on someone who's not a customer.  The entire call was under 5 minutes.
