The number is on my cell phone bill. I didn't text, call, or received anything from this number.

It shows on my bill that I text messaged and received text messages from this number several times in one day... I can't remember who it was and the number confuses me.

I figured it out... when someone text messages you from their computer, such as yahoo IM, the number comes up as one of these numbers.

I am in San Diego.  I got a text message on 2/25/08 with this number from an old girlfriend that moved to Costa Rica over a year ago.  I know that it was her because of her nickname and message.

Hi, are you sure thats what it is? I have the same number on my bill more then 10 times.

(meaning are you sure that it is from an instant message?)

Can you please tell me what her nickname was?

I am sure that it is an instant message to. They are texting my husband all kind of stuff.

spam from this number- borderline obscene- I called verizon and learned how to block this number from texting me- but in the mean time I have to pay for those texts this @@*@hole sent me-  no way to find out who it is but at least they are now blocked from texting me

How did you block the number?  My husband gets this number on his cell and we are Verizon carriers.  I've gone under preferences under vtext and blocked all web & email addressess and even put this number in the list.  Is that what you did?

you have to turn on the usage controls for the number that it is occurring on. and then you have to add that number as a blocked number. you have to do that online in your verizon page after you log on

The 009-246-6501 number is not a number it is coming from a instant messenger based on the id the 009 code it is coming from the chicago il area  so im sure if you see it alot on your bill your wife or husband is talking on his cell phone to someone :P

BTW each part of the number is the area of the person's isp
009-246-6501   so the xxx is the state code the 2nd xxx area code 3rd xxx city code of the isp .. hope this helps

there are 2 numbers showing up on my cell bill.  one is a number from a land line in los vegas NV.  The other is from a text off a computer.  I don't want either of these to access my line.
the numbers are:
702-444-4939  landline
009-246-6501  computer text.
please advise them to stop.

My daughter came to me and asked me to block this becuase she felt she was getting stalked. She says that the yahoo ID is CADACHRISTOPHER.

i tried it out. it is yahoo messager. i sent one to myself to see if it would work.
