I had a missed call from this number, i called it back and it was Rosebank college

my daughter received a call from this number and the person she spoke to said her name /his name was phila. she said my daughter entered some certain competition using her cellphone and that competition was entered by matric students, phhila said her application is being approved and that she needs to pay 300 upfront for admission . as a concerned mother i phone this number and asked for someone by that name(PHILA) and the woman i spoke to sounded a bit surprised and said she is transferring me to her, i was put on hold and somehow the call got cut off, does anyone know anything about what i just written here? there are lots of scams out there and loosing money due to that can be very disturbing. thanks DIANA

I got a call from this number and when I picked there was no response to my 'hellos' and then the call was disconnected. These seem to be criminals.
