I'm suspicious of the validity of the phone number above. The caller referred to herself as Monique and that she was calling from Greyling Grobler Attorneys or something in those lines. The line was quiet horrible, so I couldn't get the name of the company correctly.

I later tried calling back the number BUT I'm put on hold and the phone just keeps on ringing without anyone picking up.

My hsuband recieved a sms from M&G Attorneys saying that we have a unsettled bill which was not paid, call this number 0115901617 to avoid action, I called them to advise me of the bill. I was told by the first lady that it was a bill for a doctor at Panorma medi clinic- 2009 for my sons birth, I got the name of the doctor which I called and according to them I have no outstanding bills with them. Today again we get a sms saying we must pay to avoid action, I called again to inquire about the invoice from the doctor, to be told that they will email it to me, waiting still no repsonse, I call yet again to be told that they can only send it to me tomorrow as the lawyer needs to sign it, so now I am really suspicious.

I will wait on this invoice to check the validity of it.

HOAX, these are scamers!!! Be careful - somehow they obtain information about you and your contact number and try defraud money. I had an sms on I cell number that is on a data line, number is never given out and they found it....

No registered company....is a front

These reeking R-soles sent  me a SMS, pretending to be AMPATH (pathologists), informing me that my "account" has been over to M&G Attorneys who I should call at 0105901617, even citing a sham reference number.

My wife received two SMS's from M&G:
COSTS OF 75.32 DUE ON YOUR DR H BRITZ ACCOUNT. PHONE M&G ATTORNEYS TO AVOID ACTION: 0105901617. REF: 90001 0842 9576 8
and
Bank details: ABSA VERICRED GENERAL TRUST Acc 4074288155 Branch 632005. Ref: 90001 0842 9576 8. Bal: 85.36. Fax: 0182932596. Tel: 0105901617.

Seems to be a hoax as she hasn't been to a Dr for a very long time and only in PE.

I called the number but it went to voicemail.

Thank goodness I thought to just check this. I get an sms every month. Monique from Marnewick & Greyling will e mail me a statement, lets see. Cant the cops pick them up for fraud? The bank account number must be traceable?

i always get the ABSA Vericred message, i asked at a ABSA office they say its not from them its a scam

I keep get this SMS and I don't understand so I am on my way to the bank to find more information

I lost my wallet with cards including Id smartcard. Next thing I got an sms that reads: ABSA Vericred General Trust Acc 4074288155, branch 63005, Ref: 10001 0263 0730 3, Bal: 14456.18, Fax 0126612286, Tel: 0126612366
Later on i got an sms that advises me of payment methods. Its worrysome.

I received an SMS says is from absa vericred general trust I need an advise please help

I lost my I.D late last year and have since started getting messages from absa vericred general account telling me to pay 40723R which I owe to tshwane university from two years ago. I had a bursary at the time so I was surprised that the institution waited two years before sending me the invoices. I was suspicious as I received it in the festive season they now go with the number 0126612366. My sponsor is yet to respond and I will update on the matter I figured I should contact them before the institution as they were responsible for the fees but this doesn't look right I haven't received any email communication from tut which is unprofessional.

They are going to take legal action  against me.

They send me the Absa Trust acc.no 4074288155 their phone numbers 0310545477 other one starts with 015 007 truecaller says Truworths scam

I have also recieved messages from this Vericred with the exact same details as listed about and from Vaal University of Technology but the school never notified me of this.
