I received a call today from this number, the lady said she calling from African Bank and she had all my information but we could'nt finish the conversation I'm not sure whether its a scam or what. 0839589149

I just tried to call this number back now while they were calling me on my cell and it doesn't connect to anything...

I got a call from this number a lady said she's from African bank we cont finish the convesation she said is fine because im a client. I think this is a scam number.

missed the call and if I call back there is none on the other side. Not even a peep.

The number is definatley African bank. Ihad the number traced via telkom. It is the headoffice number in Midrand

I received a call on 25 April 10:16am.  I couldn't hear what the person said what his name was, only that he is from African Bank.  I made an application weeks ago.  The person told me that I am sequestrated.  I am not, where did he get his info?  My husband is under Debt Review, but we were never been sequestrated...NEVER!!!  I told my husband about the call, and he tried to call the number, but there was only silence...no ringtone...nothing.  I also tried to phone...same story.  The number the person phoned from was:  011 515 1000

Please confirm with your husband....you are sequestrated. LOL

Applied for a loan at African Bank, missed first call from 5151000. Phoned 2nd time....definately African Bank. No worries.

UNATHI MAY, This is a scam and why would you be interested in a loan? course unless you are part of the scam.

I think this is a scam because I also had a miss call when I tried to call it back does not exist.

advice is you can answer any calls but dont give anyone your name and dont give bank details,
