Caller has name and will divulge what call is about... Asks to confirm date of birth.... They have this correct info but still do not say what call is about... I ended call. Who the heck is this... Seems like a scam!

Received a msg. to return call to these no's 011 560 4633 and speak to Thandeka. But the rudeness was unbelievable. She is direct to have you give out your info. So I break her to ask what company it is and she rudely says do i want to give her the info or what. I continued to say I need to know what company she is calling from and she refuses and says she is ending the call if I will not give out info - says I just need to say 'Yes or No' as she has details. What if it is to record my saying 'Yes' then using the voice records illegally.

These people will phone you when according to their records you did not pay your sabc TV license.

I had the same thing, they called i was on another call said to call me back and this guy said to me this call is not important, the way he said it was like he was saying its not important and i said sorry he said so you saying this call is not important.. i was furious i said i never said that and said call me back in 30 min cause they called from a unknown number.  I then received a sms.. he was so rude

I got sms on my tablet, no one has the number of the tablet, indicating I need to pay my TV license.  I paid the amount as I was due to pay in any case at end of September.  Luckily I had the banking details already on my bank account, but after I paid, I realised that the amount was more than the actual TV license amount and then I only realised also that how would SABC know the number of my tablet.

Called and asked to confirm my birth date, I asked who was calling and caller refused to say and kept insisting I confirm birth-date. When I said I dont give my personal details out to people over the phone who wont confirm who they are, the caller began shouting at me and telling me that I would then land up in trouble and that she was trying to help me and that i needed to confirm my birth-date, i said no and she slammed down the phone. Sounds like a scam!

Thandeka left a message to call back and quote my ID when I call back.  Firstly, i had to listen to the message 4 times to get her name, the company name and telephone number down.  Would be great, whoever this company is, to get people who can leave understandable messages on your phone, to rather call you.  Needless to say I don't call people I dont know, not knowing what it is about and start quoting my ID number.
