It's not a scam, fast forward to July 2023. I received this call just this morning. Same thing, offered for a credit card dahil eligble daw pero for approval. I ended the call after entertaining the caller. I did not give anything except answered yes and no for verifying details. Upon checking sa website ng bpi mismo outbound internal telesales number ung 02-7795-2500. its on their official website - https://www.bpi.com.ph/personal/cards/credit- ... sales-providers so its up to you if you will entertain it. I will update the status if i will get approved via text / receive the credit card.

Do you often look up known phone numbers when there's no logical reason to do so? And have you somehow never heard of phone number spoofing?

just an update, received an sms from bpi for congratulatory message last week, July 28. and just today 11am received the msg Welcome to Bpi credit cards etc etc, the card will be delivered in 3 banking days.

So yes 7795-2500 is correct from bpi outbound call campaigns but the legitimacy if the call is upon your intuition. It could spoofing, again its up to you to decide. even your family members can scam you, so be careful everyone.
